    Oh dear, I've put back the 0.5lb that I lost last week... on the £2K challenge I haven't spent much so I haven't saved much IYSWIM and the same is likely to happen this week due to lots of hours at work - but on the plus side we are getting closer to the overtime payments arriving and I am also about to make a mortgage overpayment so when I do I will put the numbers in the overpayment calculator and will then have something to add on here.

    Some fab weight losses going on - keep it up folks! I'm delighted for you. :)

  • Everyone is doing so well. My weigh in will be thursday now, but walked to work and back today and round the shops so i didn't save anything!

    Finally - a good day for my finances!

    Saved £10 from not having a lesson due to work tomorrow, £40 in interest from a mortgage overpayment (yay I love those things!) and £4.08 by shopping around and getting the 2nd item reduced, etc.

    Total = £54.08. :)

    lovely brisk 40 minute dog walk with DD who is really coming on now and couldn't manage 5 mins 3 weeks ago without getting breathless
  • Hi all, Pleased to report that I have managed to shift 3lb this week, keep telling myself that I am not on a diet but am just working on controlling my weight, some how this is helping me to refuse a lot of the junk I normally stuff myself with and I don't feel so deprived !

    Saved £200 from over-time I worked in December and am amazed at how the total is adding up. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this and my thanks go to Mr Bloater and everyone who is posting as its a great motivator.:j

    8.5lb/28lb. £570/£2000.

    Lost another pound this week, so 5.5 pounds lost since 2nd January :j

    This is pretty good as I have not really done much in the way of exercise...well...not any really...:o Oh, apart from some weeding yesterday...got all my thriving garlic plants
    planted too!! Aching all over today :( Really need to get some exercise routine started soon. :o:o

    As for money saved, I've been so busy lately, so will try and work out what I have saved in January and report back next Monday. Getting paid for some IT work tomorrow, so will put it straight into the bank, and count it as savings...that will help the savings balance!!

    Some amazing lb losses and £ savings already, well done everyone, this thread is a great inspiration. :T:T:T

    Well done everyone - some really good numbers here. :T:T

    I've lost another 2 lbs this week and am soooo close to being under 16stone so roll on next week! Total of 11lbs lost this month and am so chuffed. :j

    I started exercising last week and have been cycling to work 2-3 times a week (about 40 mins each way). I also went to see friends twice last week and drank far too much :o

    Not much to report on the savings front though - keeping a tight purse belt as still got to wait another week for payday.

    Keep up the good work everyone!
