Well today for lunch I didn't have the creamy tomato soup just the cottage cheese and ryvitas with lots of salady bits. So saved some calories on what the rest of the family ate.
My mum keeps on offering me ferraro rocher which isn't helpful though, not her fault. She doesn't know about the challenge...!
Tonight we are having the usual xmas dinner, but I will try not to have too many roast potatoes. But really today will be the last blow out (ok after the ham tomorrow honest!)
Have a great time guys.

This morning I weighed in at 22-12 again which was a Christmas miracle seeing as Mrs B was experimenting with eggnog last night. Didn't go for a run this morning cos thought it'd be kinda carp to miss the present opening. Money making possibilities today? I don't think so. So today so far, I have avoided the crumpets slathered in spread and jam for breakfast, and instead had my usual cereal. Still feeling carp with sinusitis so appetite isn't very good anyway....
happy boxing day all

Not sure what I'll weigh tomorrow as I had croissant, Christmas dinner, pudding, cream, Schloer,a shortbread, 2 pieces of chocolate orange, a smallish slice of Christmas cake without icing, a cheese on toast and I'll have a hot choc before bed - but it could have been worse.
What day are people weighing in, or doesn't it matter? Do we just post weight changes?Miggy

I didn't do too badly yesterday even though I did go over the kcal allowance. Hoping the 2hr + walk balanced it out. Another NSD too and hoping today is too. More long walks today which should be good.

Managed to achieve the quite impressive feat of losing weight on Christmas Day as I've found myself this morning to be another 1lb down. Doing a 3k run helped. Money making oppurtunities are going to be thin on the ground today. Have a whole chunk of vinyl ending in the next coupla days on eBay so that should help the money total come along. Good luck to everyone else on this mission - this is a crazy week to start it, but just imagine how good you'll feel if people ask you on New Year's Eve what your resolutions are - "I've already started mine" can be your answer.

I move out of lurkdom and reading my husband's posts under his guise to join the challenge he has set! How brave I think especially as I got on the scales today and was not too impressed! I am a cuddly 14 stone 9 and will be two stone lighter four months from today - I owe it to myself for health's sake and to my little monkeys!
I also will have demolished the debt on my storecard account which is currently sitting at £2000 post-christmas. The storecard was my dirty little secret from Mr. B before he started our debt busting and taking control expedition in August - we have both come a long way since then to say the least! We have a long way to go as well - but my goal is that we will be debt free (not including the mortgage) by the time I reach 40 or earlier if it can be done! I have 2.5 years to go to get that great age - so I know it will be done. Back to the storecard - I will have it paid off in four months and will then destroy the blasted thing!
I have done well myself, I remember reading MrB's earlier posts with shame when my Boden obsession was mentioned and some snotty remarks were made by a few people about it on MSE man's facebook page when he found and linked Mr. B. Well, to the people who were scathing - I salute you as I no longer have a Boden obsession - I have not bought anything from them since July -and have been just as happy without! This challenge will be great though as once I lose the weight I will have a Boden spring/ summer wardrobe of clothes that I have not been able to get into for quite some time so it will be like they are new again!!
Well off to take the Bloater babes for a walk with their scooters and then to put some miles on my cross trainer which as of today is no longer my extra clothes rack! Good luck everyone!!0 -
Mrs B!
Welcome out of the murky shadows.
Playing devil's advocate here ~ why not cut up the store card now? That way the temptation wrinkles away ;-) Just a thought.
Mr V has decided that we will be taking part in the Tough Mudder challenge in May 2012 (think 12 mile run including crawling under netting across stinging nettles (brave men go bare chested apparently...), waist deep running through mud, freezing cold water to jump in to, ending in running through a field of electroshock cables giving 10000 volt shocks...). I'm told it's character building.... But it is for a good cause, to raise money for Help For Heroes.
So, we join the challenge (to lose weight and try to save money).
I start out at a staggering 76.7 kg/12st 2 (which is almost the weight I was when I gave girth to my first born 21 years ago ) and Mr V at 115kg/18st something.
By 26 April, I need to have the physique of a racing snake....so lots of these :j are necessary....LBM July 2006. Debt free 01 Sept 12 .. :T
Finally joined Slimming World: weight loss 33lbs...target achieved 51wks later 06.05.13 & still there :j

Welcome Mrs B!
And amazed congrats to Mr B for actually reducing on Christmas Day! My weight stayed steady according to the scales though in reality it may of course mean I just haven't gained enough to tip them up to the next number.Miggy

Hello Mrs B
I am sure you will also achieve your goals.
I will watch with anticipation to see which one of you reaches their goals first.
