Go on then...I'll join you having already lost 60.5 lbs this year and still having 7st 6lbs(104lbs) to go.So starting weight for this challenge 17st 6lbs hoping to achieve 15st 6lbs by April then.

As for making £2k..this will be hard so having thought about it I'll aim to pay £2k off my 0% CC that I used for new furniture starting balance £3265.70 this will be hard as I'm not working at the moment and will have to be super frugal.

i have two stone to loose and if i can make 2 grand too then alls good.
Is there a start date for this,as we're all going to be scoffing loads over xmas!

Well, the boss hasn't said when it starts but as you and Chev have declared your starting weight I think it should be today, then anything we put on over Xmas is extra to lose (step AWAY from the chocolates. step AWAY from the pork pie 2.gif).

Starting weight for me 12 stone 4lbs :o.

So target 10 stone 11lbs

Money wise I can make 2.5k easily, by including excess income from BTL and also debt repayment from DD (am hoping she may clear most of the 2.5k herself :)). So obviously I won't be including any of that, just to make it more of a challenge .

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Count me in I'm a lurker that needs to lose weight and save money

  • Ok... starting weight for me is 11 stone 4lbs  so losing 25lbs will take me to 9 stone 7lbs which should be about right for me (I reached that weight two years ago and was happy with it).
    Savings starting point... 0 :o

I have made myself a signature which is showing when I edit it in my control panel but isn't showing on my posts... can anyone help??

... oh it's doing it now!!
  • Nice to have so many people joining, I know we'll all be able to inspire each other. There are no bosses here - you start when you want, and you post when you feel like it. For myself, I'm going to post everyday even if there is nothing to report cos it'll give me the structure I need.

Managed for the first time since mid November to go for a run (2k before I had a complete breakdown) and so when I weighed myself this morning I was 2lb down!

Found 6 quid in a fleece, 12p in a toybox, and sold two records last night on eBay which when the Post Office, Paypal and eBay have taken their share will leave me with about 2 quid. So my totals for day 2 (The likelihood of anything else moneysaving or weightlosing occuring today are slim) are follows.

TWO GRAND TWO STONE FOUR MONTHS DAY 2
    Weight 22.12 (down 00.02 / 01.12 to go)
    Money £8.12 (£1991.88 to go)
  • I like this thread Mr B. Am a serial lurker who needs to lose weight and save altho the hefty tax bill at the end of Jan will mean the saving will be started once that is paid.:)
Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.

This sounds a good plan Mr Bloater

I've lost 1st 10lbs in the last 7mths and have another 4lbs to go to make the 2st mark for me. Anyhow, I'm aiming to keep going and maybe get a bit lower by keeping running, build in some more cardio/resistance work to tone up the belly area. Why is the worst area the hardest area to go?

So the diet and exercise 2st target is not too bad as its pretty ingrained now after 7mths. Just having a bit of time of over Christmas. However, the 2 grand is a necessity.

I'll do this by restarting ebaying again after quite a long break to get rid of all the stuff upstairs piled up. Also relist again on amazon market place.

The deadline is 23rd April = £2000. If I make that I'll have the biggest smile on my face it will be unimaginable now. And believe me I had a big smile on my face when I reached my first target weight!

    Subscribe time....

    Weight start 10st 3lb (Target 10st or 9st 10lb) loss 0
    £2000 target (£2000 to go 0 made)
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333
