This week is a LOT better than last. Not only did I have the roofing to be repaired £500....I had an emergency car repair....£276. Not good last week.
This week however seems to be the silver lining on the cloud.....just found out that my full-time position has been approved and I got my CIMA exam results today and passed!!!!:D:D:D:D:D I have had a 9 year (children)/study break so I was very nervous about dipping my toe back into the professional qualification route again especially as the course had been revised twice in that period and I had lost 3 exam passes in the interim. So onwards and upwards as they say....books out and start working towards my next 2 exams in May! All the more money for Disneyland as my son would say:rotfl::rotfl:Must learn not to count chickens before they are hatched!!!!:D

Jiggy, did you go to SW or am I mixing you up with someone else? If so, why don't you try and get on the plan again ? That way you'll be able to stack up on the carbs which in turn "should" give you more energy to exercise.. It's really hard to get back on track once you have had a Festive break! Nightmare even
The orange juice will only add to your sweet cravings..try and eat whole fruits which bulk you up a wee bit more with the flesh & fibre.Must learn not to count chickens before they are hatched!!!!:D

Another £79 for me as groupon returned my money from a deal that went wrong. No lbs off as I haven't really been trying. Once I move house next week I will be able to be a bit more disciplined as there are no takeaways for miles and no wee shops to nip round to for a bar of chocolate. Bringing the total to £394If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Hi, 5 of 8 things sold on ebay, after commission it's £25 in the pot. Also got an unexpected £20 belated xmas GV from work so new total saved is: £78
Alas no more lbs dropped though, must try harder, must walk further, must get back on that stepper!
Has anyone else noticed that not only has Mr B disappeared but so has the spreadsheet - I just flicked through all the pages and couldn't see it at all.0 -
Well I started on 9th Jan weighing in at 12st 6lbs, just weighed myself and I'm 12st and a little bit! 6 lbs in 3 days or a time/month artefact - who knows!
Not started exercising yet so any change is down to cutting down portion sizes. I've also joined the "Eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge" and I think that's helped me lose weight as the less I go to the shops the less fresh stuff I have which "needs" to be eaten (and snacks of course!).
On the money front, I'm taking part in the Save £12k in 2012 challenge, but hoping for £6k. 4 months worth = £2k and I'm on track with that, so very pleased! Hoping to save another £100-£300 this month
