Well, it's money available for your use that you wouldn't otherwise have had, so I would think so.

I saved all of 94p yesterday but I have a couple of watchers on Ebay.

  • Weighed in yesterday at 11.13 which is a loss of 2.5 lb (though only 1 lb to show on the spread sheet as I lied/mis-spoke/made an error in my starting weight...Now to make a start on the money!

Only 24 laps of the pool today. But was good at lunch time and only had a six inch subway! Tea was another matter. Must try harder!

No money earned today. Actually that isn't true. Mum paid for lunch so 12 pounds saved there too.

I too do not know what has happened to Mr B, but perhaps we can help him out (especially if you are on the spreadsheet) by posting weight gains and monetary savings in bold and colour? It will make it easier for him to spot:D

Can we put out an SOS for Mr B! Even if he just pops in to say hello! He's inspired so many people I hope nothing untoward has happened and that his absence is just due to being very busy. Mrs B could you let us know please?

  • Anyone got any tips for a low-cal energy boost that does cost the world. With this detox I am feeling rather tired this week which is 1, making me not want to exercise and 2. making me want to eat a whole load of fatty foods!
I managed to resist so far but don't know if I have much will power left.
I haven't been ridiculous with the diet only cutting back on 500 cals but for some reason I am struggling this week. I have successfully lost 3 and half stone over the past 18 months doing this and never had any problem with it but it seems to be I am finding it hard to get back into after a 2 weeks festive "diet holiday".

jiggyquincy, oranges aren't hugely expensive and give you an energy boost lasting several hours for relatively few calories.

Also keep hydrated: water doesn't give calories at all of course but it can help energy levels.

So why am I drinking coffee - again?

  • I have been drinking loads of water. It is the best way to keep those hunger cravings at bay and at the same time flush out your system of any rubbish toxins.
I stay away from coffee and tea cause I don't like the taste and I am very lucky I drink fizzy drinks anymore (probably one of the main reasons I put on so much weight in the first place)

I will certainly try the oranges though, not a big fan but I'll try anything just now. I take it orange juice (pure stuff not that concentrate rubbish) would do just the same job???
