I've now bought a pedometer (half price :money:) and going to try 10,000 steps per day. What I don't manage during the day, I'll make up in the evening on my step machine.

Nothing saved on the money front yet though ... :(

  • You should have tried to get a free pedometer, Tesco are giving away 10,000 just now. It is a competition but there must be a pretty good chance of getting one. Worth a try if you haven't bought one yet.

    Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the link Jiggy, I've just applied too  - wonder how many of us will be lucky?

Not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. Had a takeaway at the weekend :o, and I hurt my foot - it still hurts now so have hardly moved for the last few days. :(

On a happier note, I transferred £50 to Zopa. I'm going to need a new laptop sometime soon so have to hold on to some cash incase I see a bargain in the meantime, but my finances are looking pretty good this week (doesn't happen very often!) so should be able to transfer some more money by the end of the week.

Back tomorrow with the dreaded weigh in results...

Ooh, and don't forget the Biggest Loser is on tonight! :)

I haven't worked up the courage to weigh myself since I started this. We are still eating Christmas leftovers and I haven't managed to make it to an exercise class yet due to having too much work to do. Think I need to get off the sofa and start walking in the evenings. I have a pedometer somewhere and I think I will aim for 5000 steps per day at first!

Although we are making more progress on the saving money. Me and my husband played loft tetris last weekend and we found some bits to put on ebay. No bids as yet, but 4 items have a total of 26 watchers between them. Am hoping for a few bids on these. I also got another new client last week which I am starting tomorrow and have had a couple of new enquiries this week.

Bit more loft tetris this weekend. This has the added bonus of sorting out the clutter from our house as well as finding stuff to sell!

    IVE JUST FOUND THIS!!!!!!!

Not realised you'd started a separate thread. Count me in starting from tomorrow morning. I had lost just over a stone before Christmas but I'm guessing a great deal of that has gone back on!!

I'd be more than happy to knock 2 grand off my debt by April so I'll update my signature accordingly, who knows, it might persuade me to actually attempt ebay again.

I'm not sure I'll find the courage to weigh myself for a couple of weeks. Two weeks hard dieting and then I might be able to! I'll hit the gym tomorrow morning. For now I'll live in the deluded hope I'm still over a stone lighter than last year!!!

OMG, I've just spotted Mrs B.................hey there! It's lovely to meet you at last. Gosh I really have been out of the loop!

I lost the 2lbs I put on over Christmas and I'm now back to 10st 3lb

Next aim is 10st and hoping to lose those 3lb by the end of the month, the continentals are nearly gone and there's 2 pieces of christmas cake left and once they're gone it should be easier to stay on track!

Hi all, its really encouraging to read all the posts. I confess that I have been a 'dead loss' for the past week or so. I have no weightloss to report although I have eventually joined facebook so that I can sell some things on there. Im a bit fed up with ebay so will see how fb a go.

I have been drinking more water and done a bit more exercise. When I started to write down and monitor how much fruit and veg I ate I was really shocked how little it was. Off to stock up on some fruit I like.

keep up the good work everyone
