That's excellent on the fags front. Well done.

    Happy New Year.

Very well done to both of you. I wondered how you got on.
  • Congratulations on stopping smoking, it is hard and you deserve huge kudos for doing the single most important thing to improve your health.
  • That's good news! Well done to you both for stopping smoking, I hope you both can continue to stay quit. Can I recommend you both get stuck into this thread and all the invaluable resources contained within? It really helped me when I quit a year and a half ago.
Wishing you both health and happiness for 2012.

Very best wishes to both of you. It must be a tremendous relief to have him back home. Spring is coming and he'll soon be able to get out into the fresh air and enjoy all the growing things.

I may sound like an 'evangelist' for non-smoking, but - as I hope I made clear - it's only because of bitter experience.

Take advantage of all the help and advice there is out there nowadays. Your husband has been given his life back - that's a blessing that can't be described. Good luck to both of you.

Lot of luck to the both of you. Pleased he is at home now xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

  • Well done to both of you and keep it up.

there is a stop smoking thread on here somewhere and I found it a huge help when I gave up. I even got some PMs of support when I was having a wobble about it. So take a look, use all the tools and help that are available to you, and remember it gets easier and easier.
