No, and even then both phones have an eBay app that you can use rather than the website.

Sorry to sound mega thick, but what does that do, so what is the advantage of an ebay app rather than website?

For the average user, Windows Phone will be a far far far better OS than Android any day of the week. Android is for geeks, Windows Phone is for the masses. It is similar to an iPhone, but on steroids. It makes the iPhone look outdated, and Android just plain clunky and unusable.
    "far far better"?

I would personally avoid the Windoze phone - it's Nokia's last ditch attempt to stay in business.

not that ive had a nokia for years but my husband has a samsung and loved it says its easy to use loves how quick it is

just looking at the nokia seems it has less apps than andrioid and you need a certain music software on your pc to transfer music i could be wrong with that though( could just be drag and drop)
    What goes around-comes around

That is correct. You need Zune installed, which isn't too bad... not as simple as drag and drop, but not as evil as iTunes.

i have experienced the SGS2 and its a great phone and android rocks. my partner has a HTC HD7 windows phone and i like the o/s a lot and will buy a nokia windows phone when they are cheaper sim free. both have advanteges, but if you need more free apps, android has way more than windows.

Don't know about ebay apps, but normally it's not that simple and apps are not just shortcuts. Most websites are designed for PCs and are too compex for mobiles. Apps either direct you to a simplified version of the website (like you said) or just use some essential information from the website, but use a special layout to display it on the mobile screen.

Thats seems quite a good deal. I am on the market for a good upgrade and was deciding between the Samsung SII, but i find this a bit big to carry in the pocket.
Today i see Three have started some sale offers.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S for £25 500mins, 5000 text, unlimited data
Or Samsung W for £23 with same quota as above.
I thought the Sony XAS looked like a decent phone for £25 but waiting to see if Phones 4U have any offers next week.

If i am correct when i was researaching vodaphone, their unlimited data usage is not actually unlimited, and there are download restrictions (correct me if i am wrong?)
