there are lots of suet based puddings, like jam roly poly, maybe you could use it for that? I dont know much about suet so not sure if there are different types or anything like that

Definitely gonna try the jam roly poly and spotted !!!!!! recipes.

Surely there must be even more obscure recipes as it is such an olde ingredient. Just gone out of favour with a modern public.

Sorry to be a bore about the dvd player...

I don't have an hdmi cable to hand so thought I would try it without and add that later.

I have plugged it in and can hear the dvd but no picture - any ideas?
if the scart lead is connected both ends ok, you need to select the tv input to the correct scart input ie my tv has about 8 inputs to choose from:- 2 scarts, 2 hdmi, av 1&2 ect

Afternoon everyone, Went to 3 T's today and think one has been well and truly "Lurked" Yesterday I went and got some Haribos Halloween tubs for 1p and there were loads, and I mean loads, piles of them. I mentioned it on here and then thought I'd nip back as soon as they opened to grab a few more and there was none, not even a sign. Another mser pm'd me yesterday and they went in last night and there were none!! So in the space of about an hour they'd all disappeared:eek::eek::eek:I don't make a secret of what T's I use but it's a bit naughty and am only mentioning it as it's happened a lot lately in that particular T's. Sorry rant over;) Anyway they didnt find the lucozade shots so got myself another stash of them, DS thinks I'm such a great mum because he loves them and to be honest, much as they taste disgusting they do wake you up. Then got lots of whoopsies and got some whoopsied lamb which was on the 3 for £10/4 for £12 so another £4 came of the whoopsie price:T:TAlso had some vouchers Mr T had sent me so used them too.Managed to get the 53p water lanterns(If you see these they are great as I've used them before) Also got some whoopsie 30p flowers! So all in all a productive trip. Just debating on whether to nip out again to a T's that only 5 minutes away:cool::cool:

i hate being lurkered :( there is one store that i go to that not one person on here has admitted going to, but that particular one is nearly always empty of anything good :(

As others have said, its such a pity and shame that these lurkers dont post on here, even if its to say that they have emptied a particular store and not to waste time and petrol trying that store.

For example, someone came on here the other day and said that they had the telescope (it might have been 2) from one store that i would have gone to, and that they had checked another one, but nothing there. I was really grateful for that as I would have otherwise had a long trek looking for them

Glad you still managed to get some stuff otherwise :T
