Thank you Issyc and I will soon. I would love to now but the kids are moaning that they are hungry, and if im still on the PC when my OH gets home he will have my guts for garters! I often listen out for his car engine and switch off the PC just as he opens the door...how bad it that!:rotfl:

catching up, trying to watch football, impossible with al sorts going on around me & glasses off for netbook &.on for TV

I know Man u are 3 up, did someone get sent off ? heard muttering about yellows & but commotion going on here.

isn't anyone back from their 10am raid ?
  • Well it was gorgeous and sunny here, but looks like I've done my usual trick of putting off a nice walk till the clouds come over! Might pop to T's briefly on the way to see if theres any decent reductions.

I was given a huge bag of beef suet. I have just had casserole n dumplings for the first time (using suet, that is) and want to ask how you guys use it up.

I'm not very adventurous so for me it is either dumplings or rolling the dumpling mixture into a disc to make a pie lid for a casserole in a pyrex-type bowl.

I do the same too! Then I rush into the kitchen and when he comes into the living room, I walk in to meet him with a tea towel in my hand!

Well guys, in an attempt to change the subject..

I just saw a recipe for figgy pudding on google and am even more eager for figs after seeing Lalas piccies.

there are lots of suet based puddings, like jam roly poly, maybe you could use it for that? I dont know much about suet so not sure if there are different types or anything like that

    Here here Hammie! Totally agree.

I read through the pages, and post occasionally either to ask a question or help someone, but dont feel one of the regulars as i dont have time to join in with all the banter. Now I kind of feel that I must seem to be one of the lurkers:o. What with that and being chucked off the facebook group (didnt realise until now that its still up and running just for a chosen few), I feel a proper outsider now:(.
