Sorry to be a bore about the dvd player...

I don't have an hdmi cable to hand so thought I would try it without and add that later.

I have plugged it in and can hear the dvd but no picture - any ideas?

How have you connected it, hdmi, cable, scart lead?

Have you changed the channel on your tv to av1, av2, scart ? Some tv's will automatically change when connected to certain dvd players some you have to do itit yourself.

    Hth
oops just seen you sorted it and I obviously missed the part about no hdmi. Lol

Has anyone tried the T's Tapas Patatas Bravas, how hot/spicy are they?

I would say they are quite mild - I don't like spicy spicy food and I can happily eat these! :)

Well I went to C0v3ntry X Point today, looks like we've been busted, the scanner has now been "out of order" for over a week, also found a few previous 1p items I'd had at this store and thought I'd see if they would go through the till, suprise suprise..... no price found, product recall or some such rubbish like that.
So as the scanner is also down (months now) in W@lsgr@ve my tesco trips are going to be quite limited now. Damn you Tesco!

    Hi all

    Possible Meal Deal £7.49

Just got my price check email back and although no voucher for me this time, I checked through the receipt carefully as it was from my big shop on Friday.

Basically I bought a meal deal and included the Tesco Finest Howcroft Cabernet Sauvignon 75Cl which has priced checked against MrA as follows:

1x Tesco Finest Howcroft Cabernet Sauvignon 75Cl £8.99 Asda £6.48
So does this mean you could potentially get a meal deal for £7.49?

The other meal deal items all came back as N/A and were:

1x Tesco Finest Tarte au Choc
    1x Tesco Finest Chicken Kiev
    1x Tesco Finest Chunky Chips

Initial spend £10 but £2.51 voucher back?

I had to check online while in the shop to find the bottles that were included as only 1 bottle of wine was in the meal deal section.

    ALSO

Cushelle white Toilet Roll x4 £2.18 Asda £1.80

50p off coupon for MrT so initial spend £1.68 and JTD £0.38p, so effectively £1.30 for 4

    Hope this is useful.
