Just wanted to add a little tip with the Haribo. I bought them a while back when they were £2.50 as OH loves them and wine gums and Haribo are things I buy for him most weeks(You wouldnt believe he's 44!!!) and he's just come in and reminded me to say, When all the sweets are gone the buckets make great proper buckets and are completely watertight. So even if you don't want the sweets their worth buying at 1p to put paint or other stuff in. Don't know what on earth he's doing now but he's just disappeared into the garage with one filled up with water:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks Nikkilala; misery guts was just saying this morning that he was on the lookout for a bucket with a lid for the compost bin.

I have just put him straight :rotfl:

B*gger - can't make it on Tuesday as we've got the accountants coming in at work so no chance of me escaping for an early lunch :( I'm back at work on Monday - so the first time I'll be hitting the local stores since before Xmas - have had to content myself with northampton and towcester over NY and south lanarkshire/glasgow, although I did manage a rather nice new set of BT phones........ feel free to stash me a set of drumsticks if you are in extra again before Mon ;). Any other good bargains to be had down there?

    :)

    Evening all :rotfl:

reminder email also for the ruby slippers :o

Been to T's & yes the Philips DAB radios are now £30  how can they justify them being £5 & then suddenly £30? I see loads are selling on eBay for £20 ish :(

    Anyway rant over.
Got some nice christmas glass lights for £3.75 & 12 Trivia crackers for £1.75 were £7. Also plain red medium size gift bags for 5p each - handy for everyday pressies.
Got the Dettol no touch thingy £4.99 less £3 coupon :) & 2 packs of Sarah Smith 1p wet wipes that were in a green box with loads of other homeless clipstrip things. I asked SA if I could have them. She was happy as she said she didn't have a clue where she was going to put all the odds & ends in box ;)
I did a quick getaway before I got myself in a pickle. Hopefully they will be randomly strung up for my next visit :D
Got a behind the radiator blue duster thingy for 50p

Beef bourguignon for tea as whoopsied & a turkey leg for ancient cat :T
