is there an easy way to 'mark' where you've read up to on each thread? I do try to remember what post number i've got up to but that never happens! I seem to spend ages going backwards and forwards trying to work out where I got up to!
It's probably something glaringly obvious I know, but I'm the first to admit I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer :rotfl:
Thanks x
On the green bar near the top of the page there is a 'view first unread' button. If you press that when you log on it should take you to the place you left off. hth0 -

Has anyone tried them?? They're yummy! First time I've done them so I stuck with chocolate and my friend loved themAppologies in advance for the new year dieters!
they look yummy! I bought the whoopie pie maker from comet when it was reduced to 4.99 and used it the other day....really quick and easy (and too clean)...and whoppie pies tasted better than cakes!!Can I ask, where are people looking for the telescopes, binoculars, etc in store - just the seasonal aisle? Has anyone found any of these things other than in an Extra/Homeplus Store please?
Between yesterday and today I have been into a Homplus, 4 extras and 3 superstores, with no job. Thanks IA.,
I found lots in my extra but they were upstairs (with the toys/electrical/clothes etc) at the end of an aisle in a large box! In a different extra today they were on a shelf in the seasonal aisle!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
afternoon Elite!
been to 3 big Ts, one Metro and one Express... Bf now coming with me everytime I go for a round trip! Even when I warned him it will be 5 Ts  I don't even ask if he wants to go with me he just assumes it's part of our weekend routine now! And the best thing is he doesn't complain anymore!:eek::eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So now I have a chauffeur and I can read MSE on the way there :j:j:j
anyway not many bargains found... the highlight of the day are 2 bottles of the Francois Dubois Rose Champagne :T:T:T and no hassle as dtd given without asking :j could have got more but I guess I just stopped being so greedy!
now I got to get writing those stupid esseys and then I decided that when I get them all done and pass my exams at the end of January I'll reward myself and bf with opening one of the bottles from today
Not Tesco related: I am so  at Royal Mail and bf as well! Last week on Thursday when I was home all day the Royal Mail guy couldn't be bothered to knock on my door to give me my(well bf's) parcel and just left the red card in our post box! Come on! First floor! I'm sure it took him longer to write this bl00dy card... So I was fuming and called the number on the card to complain... the lady apologised, logged my complaint and said the parcel will be redelivered on Saturday... Well, we've been waiting a whole week and nothing!!! We picked it up today from the depot but I'm not happy at all with the service! And bf told me off when I wanted to ask the guy at the depot about a complaint because there was lots of people who would hear it! I sooo HATE his thinking "what others think of you is more important then anything"!
I am going to complain on RM website and I hope they will do something... I don't want anything from them just to deliver my post as this is what they should do...
sorry, rant over...0 -
had a quick trip to an extra this morning....got the Me To You bears £3.75 each...one dressed as a reindeer and one as a xmas pudding (both already posted on here!)....also found a few 1p bits already mentioned....found the leaf trays but they now scan at £5
Got a few of the large xmas craft boxes for the kids reduced to 75p....and my best bargain...the older style of 'cupcakes' kids bed linen...single duvet set and pillow case...scanned at 20p :j can post pics and bc if required, but think its worth a root through the bedding for any 'old' styles mixed in with the new ones!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Hey everyone hope all's well today. I've spent ages catching up as I've got distracted watching a film, taking a Mr S delivery, (yes, I know!! But it was a good deal!
)chatting to neighbours and making butter
I'm off out for a meal tonight for a friend's birthday. Guess what restaurant she chose?? MEXICAN!!!:eek::p:p
As far as lurkers go, yes I find it a real shame that there are many out there that don't thank the OP's of some amazing deals they take advantage of and don't post their own finds. However as far as how much to take of each find, I sometimes find that's a very hard call to make. I'm not in a bad position financially so I would never take anything I didn't need or want just because it's 1p/4p etc etc but who's to say the next person that comes along isn't the richest person in town that gets their jollies having a housefull of things they'll never use. Then with dtd you know that 99% of the time the SEL will be removed from the shelf, thereby nobody else would be able to get it, so in those cases do you fill your boots or just take 1? I always try and be fair and like many others on here I like to let people in on a deal or glitch if I see someone I know or someone looking at, for example OEP. Then my favourite thing to do is to bag up my bargains and spread them between family and friends +/- homeless shelters. (when appropriate) Sites like these are only helpful when people are generous with their time and knowledge, which is why I love the Elite so much! to us! :T:T:TTapas multibuy's been going at least 6 months now, just got some tonight and it worked. (I had to compete with a real seasoned reduction vulture to get any good stuff, luckily she obviously didn't know about the glitch and passed them over) However, the cardboard sleeves didn't appear to have the multibuy printed on them like they used to, so maybe they're getting ready to phase it out... Either that or I'm being dumb and multibuy info was underneath the whoopsie sticker...
Thank you Rubsico but I'm already aware that it's been going on for a long time, the same with the 3 for £10/4 for £12 on the meat. My post was regarding notifying my own store in particular to the multibuy discount still applying when the items are reduced by having a void transaction with a zero balance. I shower CS the receipt, which was in turn shown to the manager.:eek::eek: *DROOL!!* They look so scrumptious and delish! Can I have one please??
Might try and make some time to bake something too! I'm always buying things but never get a chance to make anything!
Thank you! Also forgot to mention that alongside using up whoopsied cream for the filling, the actual 'pies' require buttermilk'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
