is there an easy way to 'mark' where you've read up to on each thread? I do try to remember what post number i've got up to but that never happens! I seem to spend ages going backwards and forwards trying to work out where I got up to!
It's probably something glaringly obvious I know, but I'm the first to admit I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer :rotfl:
Thanks x
Hi Valwoire - really depends on how you read threads and if subscribed etc.
For this forum, I have the "Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping etc" board bookmarked and the latest post on each sub-board is highlighted on the first page. On the Gone but not Forgotten board, 99% of the time it is this thread that has the newest, and if you click on "Tesco Discussion, Chats etc" it takes you straight to the last post that you read. Really easy, 2 clicks. Except for the 0.1% of the time when another GBNF thread is active and I click on the newest post and get thrown when I am in the wrong thread. But this doesn't happen very often at all because folks on this thread are extremely chatty and the next post is happily never long away.0 -

Thanks to stu1e on the 'other' tesco thread on main board. :j:j
Thanks i have been wanting a pedometer for awhile but couldn't find a cheap good one. I do a lot of walking. :j :j0 -
Lol! I've taken to writing down post numbers as I go so I can go back and quote!jumblejack wrote: »There's a thread on the main board by toffee apple about celebrity slim. A huge reduction on a starter pack from amazon.
My neighbour tried this and there's packets and packets of the stuff still in her kitchen, apparently it's vile! Plus all these diets are a complete con, you'll end up putting it back on anyway. Best bit of advice, save yourself some money (&time&hassle in the long run) and do it the old fashioned way, eat less, move more. It really works! :jAhhh, That is fab:T And shows what a lovely person you are:):o:o:o Thanks Nikki!

P.S Glad you got your mojo back, I would LOVE some Haribo, not seen them for ages around me thoughbooo!
I know where you are coming from Tazmac, there is a certain store I go in (not the one you are referring to) but the staff do not give dtd and are pretty downright rude. I stuck my head above the radar though and they are getting their retraining (courtesy of Uncle Phil) along with the CS manager who is an obnoxious individual.
The SS till is just another lame excuse. It is a Tesco till, still takes your money off you, and Tesco try to promote it, especially when the tills are heaving, because they dont want to pay more staff. They cant have it all ways. Also on the notice behind the CS desk, it makes no exception to dtd if you go through the SS till. If it stated that, it would be their cop out, but it doesn't.
I don't agree with Tesco using SS as an excuse for giving dtd but because so many people have been questioned over it and had an even bigger battle than a regular dtd, I would never ever use a SS. As I said before I'm always nervous getting dtd, I know it's their policy but stilland I just wouldn't want to give them any reason to not give me my money back!

they look yummy! I bought the whoopie pie maker from comet when it was reduced to 4.99 and used it the other day....really quick and easy (and too clean)...and whoppie pies tasted better than cakes!!
Thanks LoobyI did have a look at the whoopie pie maker but thought I'd try them on a baking sheet in the over first and they came out really well so I've decided to buy a Quesadila maker instead! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Posted on the man board (thanks to Maddof1):
Hi all, I was in Tesco in Aylesbury today and I overheard a member of staff say they are starting a big Christmas sale tonight and have 20 large crates to unload in the store this evening. Everything 75% off or more.0 -

Thanks xclick into that post and it usually takes me straight to the last post I read within the thread. HTH
Also think I've found a new 1p item - not seen them before, it's a pack of 2 childrens hooks - blue wooden with a picture of a tipper truck on on a clip strip, SEL 24p down from £2 but scanned at 1p. Found them in B3llsh1ll but took the last one - sorryIf I get chance later I'll post a pic and barcode. Also in store were a couple of clipstrips of the descalers, got a couple, left loads.
Tesco own brand pirate face paints were 13p (loads left) and I found the boys party bags for 3p, sorry, took the last ones of these too
Also seen in C04tbr1dge last night, Tesco value pc cable SEL 5p, sorry no bc as i didn't buy. I also got a couple of disney cars 2 vinyl cars (about the same size as a matchbox car but moulded plastic) rtc 50p from £1 and there were loads of the finest xmas puds for £1 in the seasonal aisle
Finally I got an unexpected DTD on the buggy swivel clip things, SEL 87p and scanned at £3.50 - I'm sure someone else posted something about these a while back so could be nationwide - I just thought they'd been reduced, otherwise I'd have got more than one
Didn't find any telescopes (although there was a £50 SEL for them in C04tbr1dge), keyboards or drumsticks - if anyone local to me finds the drumsticks, can you grab/stash me a pair?
Sorry for the long post - must dash, I've got a 3000 word report to finish that's already overdue - whoops.......0 -
