    afternoon Elite! :)

Not Tesco related: I am so  at Royal Mail and bf as well! Last week on Thursday when I was home all day the Royal Mail guy couldn't be bothered to knock on my door to give me my(well bf's) parcel and just left the red card in our post box! Come on! First floor! I'm sure it took him longer to write this bl00dy card... So I was fuming and called the number on the card to complain... the lady apologised, logged my complaint and said the parcel will be redelivered on Saturday... Well, we've been waiting a whole week and nothing!!! We picked it up today from the depot but I'm not happy at all with the service! And bf told me off when I wanted to ask the guy at the depot about a complaint because there was lots of people who would hear it! I sooo HATE his thinking "what others think of you is more important then anything"!
I am going to complain on RM website and I hope they will do something... I don't want anything from them just to deliver my post as this is what they should do...
    sorry, rant over... :o

I hadd this few months back, I was just coming down the stairs as the postman was putting a red card through the door without knocking, I opened it to get my parcel and he said "oh I haven't got it with me, I only bring the letters out"
I was fuming, I had to go down to town to collect it, I made a complaint but never heard anything from it.

Just wanted to add a little tip with the Haribo. I bought them a while back when they were £2.50 as OH loves them and wine gums and Haribo are things I buy for him most weeks(You wouldnt believe he's 44!!!) and he's just come in and reminded me to say, When all the sweets are gone the buckets make great proper buckets and are completely watertight. So even if you don't want the sweets their worth buying at 1p to put paint or other stuff in. Don't know what on earth he's doing now but he's just disappeared into the garage with one filled up with water:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

had a quick trip to an extra this morning....got the Me To You bears £3.75 each...one dressed as a reindeer and one as a xmas pudding (both already posted on here!)....also found a few 1p bits already mentioned....found the leaf trays but they now scan at £5

Got a few of the large xmas craft boxes for the kids reduced to 75p....and my best bargain...the older style of 'cupcakes' kids bed linen...single duvet set and pillow case...scanned at 20p :j can post pics and bc if required, but think its worth a root through the bedding for any 'old' styles mixed in with the new ones! :)

Was just about to mention the leaf trays scanning at SEL price, also I eventually found the twist poppers but they're now scanning at £1 :( and the spontex rubber gloves which were 31p are £1.27ish :(

Just got in so not had time to read thru, I got loads of the 1p Winnie the Pooh mugs but best bargain was hardwood patio sets, £10 for the 4 seater and £7.50 for the bistro set :)

Googled an image as the sets are still in the car

i usually just go straight to the forums page, scroll down to the grabbit forum and the most recent post on the board (shown in bold in the second column) is usually from this thread - no surprises there :p click into that post and it usually takes me straight to the last post i read within the thread. Hth

also think i've found a new 1p item - not seen them before, it's a pack of 2 childrens hooks - blue wooden with a picture of a tipper truck on on a clip strip, sel 24p down from £2 but scanned at 1p. Found them in b3llsh1ll but took the last one - sorry :d if i get chance later i'll post a pic and barcode. Also in store were a couple of clipstrips of the descalers, got a couple, left loads.
Tesco own brand pirate face paints were 13p (loads left) and i found the boys party bags for 3p, sorry, took the last ones of these too :o
also seen in c04tbr1dge last night, tesco value pc cable sel 5p, sorry no bc as i didn't buy. I also got a couple of disney cars 2 vinyl cars (about the same size as a matchbox car but moulded plastic) rtc 50p from £1 and there were loads of the finest xmas puds for £1 in the seasonal aisle
finally i got an unexpected dtd on the buggy swivel clip things, sel 87p and scanned at £3.50 - i'm sure someone else posted something about these a while back so could be nationwide - i just thought they'd been reduced, otherwise i'd have got more than one ;)
didn't find any telescopes (although there was a £50 sel for them in c04tbr1dge), keyboards or drumsticks - if anyone local to me finds the drumsticks, can you grab/stash me a pair?
Sorry for the long post - must dash, i've got a 3000 word report to finish that's already overdue - whoops.......
hello mrs how you getting on? Do you fancy meeting for coffee tuesday morning? Send me a wee pm for details of times places etc and let me know if u can make it. They had the drumsticks in the extra this morning in the seasonal isle they didn't have any scopes keyboards guitars though they had a microphone things (radio for shower) a messege fan thing, something that looks like an eyeball that you can put a messege on xxxxxxx
