I know how it feels.....I am usually too knackered or everyone has gone by the time I finish catching up ! Miss your posts though- it's not the same without you...but I do hope you are settled into your new job now and that you are not causing too much hassle on the roads with your bike! I cant believe you are using it I am so proud of you but so jealous at the same time:T:T:T:T

God the vision I have now of you on your bike with bottles and bottles of DTD wine hanging off handlebars!

Am still here and still addicted !

nooo it's very uncomfy to hang the bags on the handlebars as I keep hitting them with my knees :o I put them in my rucksack :p but it's heavy especially as I have to cycle for 6 miles or so each way... BUT bf got me a great basket to put in fron of me on the bike so from next week I can get more from mr T :j :rotfl:

And the new job is great! :) LO is so cute and really good to me as well :D I'll train him well and he will be a golden boy just like the little girl in my last job was :p

Actually I'm sure I remember Czerchy using figs in a recipe, I could give them to her :) when they're ready. Can't take em to work, I work from home:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I never really thought about it before, you're right JJ I am bad. I just pick them up and chuck them away, and they must be organic as I never put anything on them!!:rotfl:

prunes nikki prunes! :p I'm not keen on dried figs but might take you up on your offer when the time comes and see if I can do something with them... :T
I hadd this few months back, I was just coming down the stairs as the postman was putting a red card through the door without knocking, I opened it to get my parcel and he said "oh I haven't got it with me, I only bring the letters out"
I was fuming, I had to go down to town to collect it, I made a complaint but never heard anything from it.

I have enough hassle with deliveries already as the main gate to the court isn't connected to an intercom(in fact there are none at all in the flats!) so if someone is at the gate there is no way they can get in if they don't know the code... the same with the entrance door to the block of flats! I end up putting my phone number on the main gate if I expect a parcel I really don't want to miss... :o and then they dare not leaving my parcel with me when they got as far as both the gate and the entrance door!

Nikki I don't know why but I'm well jel of your haribos! :p Even though I still have one bucket I got a few weeks back at 2.50  and I have no idea who will eat them... :o but at 1p I'd get more...

Go to a Carvery. I find they are a great option. Choose a white meat and pile high with the veggies but avoid the potatoes!
You are stuffed but have eaten well.

Fish 'n' Chips not quite such a good choice then!!:rotfl:

    Miss_Laid wrote: »
Potatoes are fine so long as they are "plain" I find asking for a jacket spud is best, with all the carverys I have been to the veg is slicked with butter, if you phone ahead and ask they will keep you some back that are not oiled

    Oooops.....see above !!

Lovely and sunny weather here at the moment.

It must have got to me cos I have just MOWN THE FRONT LAWN!!!

Crackers I know. It looks a whole lot tidier though.

Gonna trim the edges after this brew and tidy up the borders.

I always feel raring to go after it turns January even though it is still winter!

Front garden has been soooo messy IMO. The recycle bins are overflowing and still waiting to be emptied after 4 weeks!

I'm having to bag up my plastics and tin etc. they were blowing all over the place with the winds.

    Ah well. Onwards and upwards.

Hope everyone is fine n dandy this bright Saturday afternoon.

I'm not the only one then....I spent yesterday morning in the garden tidying up the borders and was thinking of mowing the lawn tomorrow if it's dry! I sure the grass always used to stop growing in the winter...must be all that global warming :):)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • Happys shoes still @ £3.41. Wonder what they will end at.
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

Czerchy BB have loads, Qp gave me the nod on them, I'm going tomorrow, if they're there do you want me to grab you some?
I have definately got my T 's mojo back:T:TDS just asked for a lift and it just happened to be near another T's so obviously said yes.Nipped in and got whoopsied flowers which I was really pleased as they seem a bit thin on the ground round here lately. Then saw strips of green tea and sweeteners. No scanner in the store(Czerchy it was Pin*er) so thought I'd just gamble as didnt have my B/C list. Scanned everything and right at the end the bl00dy bleeper went off!!! SA came over and swiped his magic bit of paper then did a double take at the 1p price. Then he said stop, hold on a minute I've got check these they can't be 1p and off he went. Well I just carried on as quick as I could and paid and by the time he got back I was pulling out the receipt. He just laughed at me and said ok their yours cos you've paid for them. I gave him a cheeky wink and a thank you and left a bit sharpish!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
