I've being doing the Funtrivia quizs for about 6 years & some questions tend to get repeated so you get to be faster at answering them. Also find if your offered an answer of 'all of these' in selection it's usually the right answer ;)

I have no idea who Percy is - Say hello Percy :)

Enjoy & hopefully not too many American or Cricket questions for you ♥
Well done, Snap-ant on a good win.
I like the mix of questions we get each day, even the cricket ones; it keeps the brain fresh and makes it fair for everyone. :)

Edit: Where are my manners? :o:o Good morning to all 11-plussers and Glitchers. :)

Sorry to be a bit late on this as I'm catching up from yesterday.
That must be modern slang as "traditionally" it was a J Arthur. Work it out;) If you don't know I',ll elucidate:)

 is that why your username is artha ? I shouldn't call our manager Colin now he's with us but always known as Colin as his name is an anagram as Colin w****r, one for the football fans ;)

I said, well that's good- I'll have it! DD asked if she could get another for school, and SA waited patiently!!!! (while I began to sweat!!)

    Happy campers all round!

Keep my eye open for these because my OH loves them:)

Lovely and sunny weather here at the moment.

It must have got to me cos I have just MOWN THE FRONT LAWN!!!

Crackers I know. It looks a whole lot tidier though.

Gonna trim the edges after this brew and tidy up the borders.

I always feel raring to go after it turns January even though it is still winter!

Front garden has been soooo messy IMO. The recycle bins are overflowing and still waiting to be emptied after 4 weeks!

I'm having to bag up my plastics and tin etc. they were blowing all over the place with the winds.

    Ah well. Onwards and upwards.

Hope everyone is fine n dandy this bright Saturday afternoon.

Not telling my OH you've cut the lawn, he's obsessed with our lawn and if he knows someones cut theirs he'll have to go and do ours!!!!
I seem to have lost my mojo for T's a bit, maybe it's because of Xmas and everything, but I'm going to start making a massive effort from tomorrow. I can't seem to find anything lately, maybe it's time to change my stomping ground;);) mmmm goes off and checks to store locator;)

A note to anyone like me who's "lucky" enough to have the £5 coupon from the Christmas box... it is very disappointing.

Nearly had a row with a trout in Thorntons yesterday, you can ONLY use it on..

    -Continental boxes-not bags or bars:(
-Continental boxes that are bigger than 175g, ie NOT the 175g box that costs £4.99 :(:(
    -Non-sale items:(:(:(

Therefore you have to spend a minimum of £5 over the value of the voucher. I did know this already having read the T's and C's but thought I'd try my luck anyway! She did scan it against my half price box but it didn't scan.

I love Thornton's but the voucher is pointless as the 350g boxes are £4.99 anyway atm but you can only use it on a £10 full price one and pay £4.99 anyway!

    It is carp.
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

It's just dawned on me that in a few hours time I'm going to be shoeless.

Stick half of Jedwood on each foot? at least it would shut them up for once :D

    Mmmm dried figs. Delicious.

I've got a huge fig tree in the garden that gives loads of figs every year, but none of us eat them:(

The reason I went thro SS is it was a genuine misplace (because of the boxes/tills not matching) and all the manned tills were heaving - besides it's still a tesco till which head office agree.
The reason it's worth sticking my head way above the radar is this although a local store I rarely go to but when I do I always have problems and the managers do not think the tesco policies apply to them and are just awful.
They do not give DTD to anyone without it being mentioned - I did let an elderly lady know this the last time I was there as they were just refunding here the difference on a coffee machine with a sorry here's the difference back and even when she queried it they tried to make out it wasnt an over charge then in the end there was a huge sigh and the rest of the refund no apology about them trying to avoid the tesco policy!
So I feel it's my duty to make them realise they work for tesco with all their policies !
    Thanks
    Taz

I know where you are coming from Tazmac, there is a certain store I go in (not the one you are referring to) but the staff do not give dtd and are pretty downright rude. I stuck my head above the radar though and they are getting their retraining (courtesy of Uncle Phil) along with the CS manager who is an obnoxious individual.

The SS till is just another lame excuse. It is a Tesco till, still takes your money off you, and Tesco try to promote it, especially when the tills are heaving, because they dont want to pay more staff. They cant have it all ways. Also on the notice behind the CS desk, it makes no exception to dtd if you go through the SS till. If it stated that, it would be their cop out, but it doesn't.
