Actually I'm sure I remember Czerchy using figs in a recipe, I could give them to her when they're ready. Can't take em to work, I work from home:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I never really thought about it before, you're right JJ I am bad. I just pick them up and chuck them away, and they must be organic as I never put anything on them!!:rotfl:

Put a note on your gate:

"Fresh organic figs, £5 a bag" or similar.

Or trade em with a local friend of martins. One of their finds for a bag of your lush figs. (trade at a mutual Ts car park though!)

You lucky lady. I bet you will love em when you try em. They are sooooooo lovely to eat when they are fresh. Nothing nicer!

DH has just bought a load of christmas choc selection boxes, marked down in store to 38p each (reduced barcode sticker).

May be store specific, or could be happening all over if they've been told to do it

He said also that the sweetie tubes, like fruit pastels etc were all down to 40p too

Afternoon everyone, just got DS's bags all packed for him to go back to England , hate it when he leaves again....just wonder will it ever get easier cos I know he'll never come home for good again! Not that I want him too, there's b*gger all here for him work wise in his chosen career path! Hoping to hit T's tonight after I drop him at the airport, need some fruit and veg to keep my diet in line, and have a nice little list of what to look out for so thanks everyone for posting your finds. Need some Ts therapy after the past few days but hopefully things getting back on track again xx

I can't get a word in lately, can watch u all at work but can't post and it takes all evening, morning, to catch up again.
Please put my head right about my latest gripe kind peeps.
I love to share and would give the shirt off my back if it made someone happy .....but there seems to be a lot of lurkers in my local.
Nobody has come forward for the list but yesterday there were three full strips of andrex (first time) so I took about six and went back last night and they were all gone, clip strips were there but empty.
Same thing with iron cleaners and bin fresheners last week.
Why will they not join in properly, I would love to hear from them.Am I being unreasonable ??

I totally agree.

I always feel I gain much more than I give to this thread but then it stands to reason we all do unless there were only 2 of us!

But yes I bet there are a lot of lurkers who just read the deals and take advantage, I suppose there's nothing wrong with that but I do believe in give and take. I've gained SO much from this thread and I would feel mean not to share my finds,after all I already have them no one can take them from me not even the trouts!!!:rotfl:

Not at all. I notice that in my extra. No matter how early I get there the shelves have often been cleared. I know that there are a few who post on here who are locals and good luck to them but there are clearly a lot of lurkers. Come on you lurkers at Stockton Extra, share the finds and you never know there may be something you've missed that I'd be glad to share:)

It's always just possible that someone picked them up, saw what they'd gone through at and went back to clear the shelf, though if it's happening regularly with things mentioned on here, that would diminish the chances of that being the case.

Otherwise I guess it's just the luck of the draw, some people are sharers and some aren't, and none of us have a right to these items, so best to stock up when you see them. I virtually never find 1p items in my local T's, so lucky you for having a more regular supply. Enjoy.
