    Morning everyone.
No T's again for me today. It's FIL's birthday so the family are out for lunch!
I hate eating out when I'm on a diet though.....everyone else will be there with their plates piled high with all the stuff I want to eat, while I'm sat fiddling with my lettuce....it's torture!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • I found 6 telescopes in broughton but when I picked 2 up a manager came up to me and said its 1 per family. Wouldn't let me and oh have 1 each. Said they had to be fair to other people.

Go to a Carvery. I find they are a great option. Choose a white meat and pile high with the veggies but avoid the potatoes!

You are stuffed but have eaten well.

Potatoes are fine so long as they are "plain" I find asking for a jacket spud is best, with all the carverys I have been to the veg is slicked with butter, if you phone ahead and ask they will keep you some back that are not oiled

Think I read that someone else had a similar problem with the sun coupon, I'll go have a look.....

Edit - here it is http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=49893419&postcount=7561

Thanks but think the reason why hers hasnt scanned is because she thought she'd got £5 of frozen but the chicken was only 50p not £2 making her bill £3.50 spent on frozen, a £1.50 underspend. However I must say a big thanks to that lady because I was able to get 4 of the chicken meals last night!! & thanks to yourself for help also :)

I love how nothing ever seems too much trouble for people on this thread, everyone is sooo kind & generous with their time, which is something that rarely seems to happen in real life these days. Think Im having a moment! But its a credit to you guys that I am a much more confident person now than a year ago & am finally beating the wretched anxiety disorder that has gripped me for the past 5 years. So a big group hug is in order (was gonna use the smilie for that but I cant help feeling it looks soooo wrong!)

Some good advise given there :) I must say I have never been on a diet, well tell a lie, after having my family I had to watch what I was eating then. I hardly ever eat sweet items or crisps. I love seafood and fish,OH goes wreck fishing several times a year and I have all sorts of fish including Cod,Bass Dabs and Dover/Lemon Soles in my freezer.
Maybe I have just been lucky with my weight :)

  • wow you lot can do some serious chatting hehehe

I got a 1 spooky fingers thingys for 1p today, not seen any in that store at all and then today this one little box all on its own, random.

mary berry cupcake bags are 50p
t's own shampoo for dry/damaged hair (white bottle) 31p
AND i have just noticed a price error, my 1 off 5of frozen food coupon out the sun would not scan, they said it was coz its for ben and jerrys (on pic) and i said it clearly states 'on frozen food' anyway they overrode it BUT now i know why, birds eye have a new sweet korma chicken fillets frozen thingy and it is supposed to be £2, they are 50p yayay. apologies for rubbish punctuation etc but im blinking tired but still wanted to post

oh and i got some sweeteners at last

    i love you guys

thanks Betty I managed to get 4 of the chicken ;)

Just popped in to Mr T and got two Haribo Halloween tubs for a penny each!!!

DD thrilled ! and went through normal till- first asked to check price, and SA said ... well it says 1p?

I said, well that's good- I'll have it! DD asked if she could get another for school, and SA waited patiently!!!! (while I began to sweat!!)

    Happy campers all round!

There's a thread on the main board by toffee apple about celebrity slim. A huge reduction on a starter pack from amazon.

I'm not overweight by any stretch of the imagination but I am actually toying with the option of getting it as I have found my clothes have shrunk over the winter period...

Great reviews on MSE a while back too..
