Helllooo .. Busy rushing around this morning, before going into work for my late shift.

Already got petrol, filled my car washers, sorted the reclycling, cooked pasta for dinner, washing-up done, machine washing on .... I could do with a nap now, not an 8 hour shift!!

Just checking everyone knows about the 10p bottles of Volvic at BP. You need a code which you can get emailed or texted to you, then it's 10 bottles limit per person.

    https://offers.bp.co.uk/Offers/106

I got 10 this morning, then drove up the roas to get my petrol at Asda ;)

I did, and i swore at the telly when frankie went it.

why reward the druggie with a ticket into the house?

that eastenders girl was game for a laugh though, good on her.

My thoughts exactly, Nataie Cassidy was very funny:)

QUOTE=caz2703;49955103]One for the ironers out there so mainly Nikkilala! I've inherited the ironing board the ex bought years ago and it's a heap of carp to put it mildly. I've been saving up my survey credits and now have a tidy sum in Amazon vouchers to buy one. I have my eye on this one:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brabantia-Ironing-Heat-Resistant-Parking-Metallic/dp/B0018A1QMM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1Q58O2KULAL4&colid=17P9E9AYTUXA0

Any comments please? My mum hates mesh surfaces for ironing on but I'm not too worried. I just want a sturdy ironing board that is easy to use and won't need replacement felt & covers too often.[/QUOTE]

Now that looks like a lovely ironing board;):T

Afternoon everyone, still catching up and hope everyones ok. Wanted an afternoon of T's but no chance, got one of DS's friends coming round to help me with OH's website. I've got so far and am stuck and he's a bit of a whizz with websites and far cheaper than a web designer, as he's still at school;)
Did my good deed for the day, went into M&S as had a "few" £5 off £25 spend vouchers, and it's OH treat every Saturday, he buys Saturdays lunch & dinner for us.Waste of money I think but he's paying so hey ho! Didnt use them all and the lady behind had loads of whoopsies in her trolley so was obviously a bit savvy so asked her if she'd like my spare one. She was delighted and don't think she could believe someone had given it to her and I felt like I'd done my good deed for today:T.

Something I didn't mention earlier......I once watched a JK show about eating disorders and there was a girl that was anorexic and it was obvious she really needed someone to talk to and that she was only there as her Mum had forced her. So I contacted the show and explained that I had been anorexic and could they pass my number onto her. She called a couple of days later and we chatted quite a lot over 6 months and she was in a terrible state. She said the show didn't even offer any counselling and she sounded like a very genuine person who I could relate to. So I have no respect for that programme, infact I hate it!

Ahhh, That is fab:T And shows what a lovely person you are:)

Went to my local extra this morning and had a listen in to the 9am "rumble" as best I could without being too obvious;) Ears pricked up when I heard things like ".. too many misprices yesterday" "... too much DTD.." "...need to be more vigilant and check every claim...". They were quoting some misprices but couldn't quite hear enough to make them useful:( So be on your guard in my extra. Those who know will know;)

    Good afternoon (just).
Just would like to say thanks to the person who posted about the telescopes and keyboards for a £1. Managed to get a few of each for all the kids xmas prezzies. Never been so organized so early in the year. :j

Lovely and sunny weather here at the moment.

It must have got to me cos I have just MOWN THE FRONT LAWN!!!

Crackers I know. It looks a whole lot tidier though.

Gonna trim the edges after this brew and tidy up the borders.

I always feel raring to go after it turns January even though it is still winter!

Front garden has been soooo messy IMO. The recycle bins are overflowing and still waiting to be emptied after 4 weeks!

I'm having to bag up my plastics and tin etc. they were blowing all over the place with the winds.

    Ah well. Onwards and upwards.

Hope everyone is fine n dandy this bright Saturday afternoon.
