Can you describe this annoying pain? I get sciatica (a slipped disc) sometimes and the sensation is a tingling/light spasming or feeling like my leg doesn't belong to me, very annoying rather than properly painful if you know what I mean. Though the sensation (or pain) you get from sciatica varies a lot from person to person as Mr 3dogs would attest!

If it sounds like that then avoid sitting for long periods and do some walking around (T's perhaps) to ease it but your GP would need to diagnose it to make sure. Sciatica is a very common complaint in the elderly though :rotfl:
its diffucult to describe , i do get sciatica but thats always been in my right leg and is incredibly painful , this is weird its like a dull continuous pain (not sure that makes sense) but its like really distracting
i do have lower back problems but never had this kind of pain before

it could be referred pain- like the original painful spot making the pain go elsewhere to force you to get it checked out- its kind of along the same lines as having a headache when you have jaw problems

Hope that makes some kind of sense

2 for 3 quid cadburys and 2 for 3 galaxy minstrels wording on tickets very vague. Definitely buying 1 of each discount no discount so an arguable dtd if you're up for it.

I don't think he'll get in, he's really clever, fantastic grades but I just get the impression he's not eccentric enough for them ,if you know what I mean;)

I heard one of the Cambridge admissions people speak a couple of months ago and he said that they didn't care about how 'rounded' you were as a person or what extra curricular activities you enjoyed - "it's all about the academic" was his comment.

When asked if they cared about things like participation in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and would this give someone an edge 'if all things were equal' he replied "No, all things are never equal - it's all about the academic."

I have everything crossed for you and your son. My lovely daughter has her heart set on studying at Oxford so in two years I will be in your shoes.

It`s been ages since I went to T`s. On my last visit I was wearing my new long Per Una cardigan bought for my birthday by Toni :D
Some young guys behind me at the checkout called me a posh tart :( I need a glitch to get my confidence back :rotfl::rotfl:

    Afternoon all :p x

Well, hello, posh trampette ;);) Was you wearing it inside out, so that they saw the label or were they just fashionista's?

yes...not through laziness....when i tested it earlier it only has a couple off buttons on the front....standby/open-close/play/stop....tried it with the nearest DVD (Disney of course :)) and it bbrrings up the first lannguage option...but theres no way to select the language and proceed to watch the DVD....tried it with a DVD that just 'starts' with no 'before film options/menu' and it fine, but for all other DVDs that have menus, it needs the remote to work.....unless you know something I dont?!!! :)

will get £28 from Argos when I take my new one back anyway, so wont be out of pocket really buying a remote :rotfl:

Try and press PLAY button when language option comes up it normally works. :)
