Guys go easy on me please...

DD2, not Toni, has just been to a T`s express in Norfolk and she bought a M and M`s chocolate Brownie the SEL said £1.01p but it went through the till at 44p.The barcode ended in 1525 and it was dated 14th Feb 2012.
I don`t think it`s worth a special trip. But if anyone happens to go to an Extra maybe worth trying. It maybe just this one shop.
I have gave you all the infor that my DD2 gave me 20 mins ago.

    Afternoon guys -
Mr 3Dogs is going to have to go back to docs tomorrow as, although the sciatica pain is better than it was 4 or 5 weeks ago, he is still in lots of pain, despite the meds, and is back on the m0rphine :(

Hope Mr 3Dogs is feeling better soon I had part of a disc removed a couple of years ago. I was so glad to have the op after the pain I had been in for months not able to do anything.

It really is my lucky day. Not only did I get that fab DTD, I just got a lovely email.

I ordered £50 of nice bath stuff before Xmas, and I couldn't get hold of the parcel because the silly courier left it with a neighbour who then went away. The company sent it all out again for me, and then on xmas eve my neighbour bought the original round.
I emailed the bath stuff company to ask how they would like me to send the duplicate back to them, and they told me I could keep it with their compliments! That is so good of them, I really can't believe it.

    Update of neighbour's dogs:

Well, we'd just finished eating dinner and there was a knock on the door - it was the chap who also looks after neighbours dogs sometimes - he said neighbout had pushed his keys through his door on thursday with no note or anything, so doesn't know when he will be back  chap hadn't been last night as was in hospital after a road accident - in van that went off road, and rolled 11 times, woke up with tool box on side of his head/face - bad concussion. Had just got out of hospital so came round to check on dogs. He'd read my note and come straight round to explain

So he'd been in there 2 days ago, but inbetween then and 10 pm'ish Bruce had stroke or something and now couldn't see at all, and got in trouble in garden. I said I wasn't willing to leave door open for them in case Bruce got stuck in garden again, so he said he'd lock back door. I said I would look in to check them and let them out/feed them, in mornings and he said he would come evenings. Will be interesting to see when neighbour gets home, and what he thinks about condition of Bruce, who has settled but clearly can't see at all :(

So now at least I know it has only been the 48 hours I have been looking in on them, but something happened to Bruce before that - or chap didn't notice the change and it happened earlier :(:(
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(
  • OK, lots of people with aches and pains on here, bear with me as I have a little success story to tell that hopefully won't sound like preaching, it's just what worked for me.

For years had back pain, shoulder pain, then RSI in both hands which meant I was signed off work because I couldn't type or use the mouse. Had all the treatments under the sun, osteo, chiro, physio, surgeon, acupuncture, electric nerve tests, NSAIDS (pills), blah blah. No better, and facing a jobless, hopeless future. I couldn't even paint, draw, craft, DIY, play piano or bass. Even brushing my teeth was painful.

I read The Mindbody Prescription by Dr John Sarno, started to understand it, did some thinking, within a week I was 50% better, within 6 months I was 90% better. I took a writing job (which required typing), and 8 months later I was 100% pain free, and have remained so for 5 years.

The premise is, the pain is real but it's created by your body to distract you from dealing with other stuff going on in your head. Like an extension of stress symptoms. It's very common in perfectionists, creative types, people who are "nice" all the time.

I genuinely believe if you suffer from the following symptoms then this book could help:

    tennis elbow
general, unexplained back or shoulder pain
    IBS
    migraines
    ME
    Fibromyalgia
    CFS
etc etc especially where you have seen the GP, specialist, consultant etc and they can't quite find a proper cause.

The health profession doesn't really want his theories confirmed or promoted, since they will lose revenue from the treatments they peddle, which are mostly just placebo effects. Please don't think I'm against healthcare or treating injuries. It's just if you have tried everything, this book was my last resort. And I am the original cynic. The way I finally got around to reading the book, was to think, well, it costs a third of a physio treatment, what have I got to lose?

Sorry for long post. I don't want to start a discussion on here about it, and I'm not connected to him in any way, I just read the book and it worked for me. PM questions very welcome. HTH someone!
