Morning everyone!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes xxx
I thought I was not going to be on today, but I couldn't stay away lol
Especially when I had a new 1p find for you!!
Playdoh - on clipstrips... Its like a little mini pack with some sort of funny tool in there - will add a photo just as soon as I get a chance
Great for little party presents - I got 6 or 7 to put away for the next party when we're doing pass the parcel etc.0 -

and then similar one but with highlights/semi-perm colour for 30gbp plus quidco...
shame I only saw the second offer after I ordered the first otherwise it would be 30 quid and the first one 10 quid with the 10gbp voucher you get with an order! and then the cashback too!
happy days as my hair desperately needs to see a hairdresser and as savvy as I am I wouldn't pay full price and waited for a good offer...and there it is! two visits for ca. 40 gbp I am happy with...
off to see if I can find mani/pedi offer to use the 10gbp vouchers
For years I've been going two or three times a year to the Wella Academy (typical nice salon environment) in M/cr where you can get a cut for £5 and colour for £12ish (or is it £20?) ... either way not a bad price. The drawbacks are that you have to wait until they need models and the sessions take a couple of hours ... and generally you have a cut or a colour not both at once. The 'students' here tend to be qualified or experienced hairdressers.
But then there's another place I sometimes go to (run down college salon) where the students are novices and the prices start from £1 (for a wash and blow dry). They only operate Mon/Tue/Wed and again it's morning and afternoon sessions.
My NY resolution is to pre-book a few colour and cut sessions at the "posh place" and maybe treat myself to a "rough and ready" £1 wash and straightening session each week(?) :rotfl:0 -
Hi Kadison I know exactly how you feel (()) I had a fantastic 3 legged cat called Whizz( she was called this already ironically and I kept the name!) She had been caught in a trap:( before I had her and lost a back leg:( but was the most friendly, spirited cat you could ever meet. She was 2 when I had her and I lost her last year at 17, still struggle without her ,she was an amazing example of complete trust even with what she had been through and she could teach us all a thing or two!:o
Animals are great, I don't know how Mushie lost his leg, he was missing a front one though. I've had two cats that were strays, Harvey had been eating out of bins for so long that when the RSPCA took him in they had to remove all his teeth as they were so rotten. Rumple is the other that I've still got, both of them were/are the most affectionate animals!
Harvey's lack of teeth made him all the cuter though, his tongue used to poke out a bit because there were no teeth to hold it in, he was sooooo sweet. *Starts feeling tearful* No, even now I can't talk about him and he's been gone 10 years!
I lost Lady on 6th Jan and I can't talk about her either, god knows what'll happen when one of my two goes, neither are below 15 years old. I think I'll have a nervous breakdown!Sorry what do you mean by "wash it well"? I'm a bit of a numpty and need things spelling out for me
TBH I was wondering that too!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Got to N€wbury superstore @ just gone noon to find i had missed the meat whoopsies (could see them in other trollies) but did get a gammon joint down to £1.50 and 1/2 stilton's were 60p best before 5th Jan. A rack of bread and salad bags @ 15p. But not much else. They are closed 2mw.Didn't fancy battling through the race day traffic to see what was on offer @ the Extra,0

Lovely isn't it? And by the way OP, it's not "nature" for a dog to kill a cat, it's bad ownership and lack of training. If I were that cat's owner I wouldn't have the dog put to sleep, I'd have it rehomed to be trained properly and have you put to sleep. Disgusting.
Well put Kadison, agree whole-heartedly with you. Cant find the original post else I would report it too, as I find it offensive.0 -
Happy new year to everyone/Hope everyone has a fantastic 2012
I have decided i am going to start 4 boxes off with 1p items and anything i find cheap in 2012 will be going in each of them as lucky dip hampers for my mum and sissters and brother for next xmas.. obviously i will be getting them something like i normally do but just thought it would be great to see there faces when they see everything collected over a year..
Hope everyone has a great time tonight wether staying in or going out.
Glo x
What a good idea, I do one at the moment which I give to the local Cat's Protection when they have a stall in the arcade. I do get things and give them away, maybe save them up a bit and give them all at once.0 -

I like that! :T
but how do you 'get in'? do they advertise or do you just look for hairdressing schools and ask? TIA :A0 -

What a revolting person to allow their dog to do this and then to brag about it.
They did say in an earlier post that they've destroyed three settees this year too and trashed their home. Sounds like they are made for each other!0 -

And to come on here and brag is just sick
If that's the attitude with the animals (which is appalling and irresponsible ownership) not much chance for the kids!0 -
Lol - this is what I consider a poor effort:rotfl:
Check out the cancelled items and the subtotals along the way, even though I didn't get J20's or the 4 for £12 discount on the meat I didn't do too badly! Quite impressed with 3p bag of jacket potatoes!!:T
I agree about trying new things, each whoopsie run turns up a new flavour... the 25p lamb:eek: is now in slow cooker with the 15p veg bag...can't go wrong!!:j:j:jLearn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0
