1p shopping is fun well it is untill you get to the till went to ss and the sponges would not register in bagging area as so light weight
so cs comes along and says we cant sell you them, then the andrex comes up as recalled only had four as i'd already bought
loads at 6p :( did get some jeweled air fresheners 1p cs did not see them :p

    Including taxes???

    Hi Caz  :rotfl:

Yep! 1p flights with no taxes, fees or surcharges.:beer:

The whole £1 to use the bog and standing up seats are just marketing gimmicks. When Ruinair announced that they were looking in to charging a quid for the bog ticket sales went up 300%:eek:

All these quirky gimmicks are just marketing ploys and it works very well, not to mention the free advertising they get due to the papers running stories about them.

  • Totally off Mr T subject but does anyone know if I paid for a holiday in full through Thomas Cook and they go under what will happen? Will I still get my holiday or do I lose it?

Please help cause I already done this before I knew about them being in trouble and holiday isn't until next year. I paid it off because I had the money and didn't want to get nearer the time and not have any to pay for it then need to borrow, now worrying

It depends really, but because they are one of the main ones and are ABTA registered you will either get your money back or get your holiday. You might have to wait a while for any refund though.

Just make sure you have good travel insurance. ;)

I agree with your sentiments, Happy. OH and I have had loads of 1p and free flights from Mr O. How I miss them!icon9.gif

Me and Sis miss them too, perhaps we should have a special 'mourners' club?

Scratch that, too many clubs and what not on the go that I'm loosing track.:rotfl:

Wouldn't that be great, never seem to get a cat food glitch.

i'd love a cat food glitch

Knowing my luck though it would be on stuff that mine wouldnt eat so would end up being wasted

Exercise bike was the best thing I bought, lost loads of weight using it and walking the dog. Just bought a new one because I have worn the old one out :eek: I think I will need to up my regime to sort out the damage done by Mr T'S chocolate glitches. Mr T succeeded were the dietician failed :rotfl::rotfl:
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

No need to worry. They are covered by ABTA so you are covered.
Best to pay by c/c though as any refund can be claimed through your bank which might be quicker.
I'd heard that the banks had extended their loans anyway so it's probably nothing to worry about!

Only until the New Year though.
