I don't trust him as far as I can throw him either but I'm clever enough to know when and when not to book. I've flown all over Europe with Ryanair and I don't think I've ever paid more than £15 per person, per flight. Cheapest flight I ever got were to Spain and Belgium for a grand total of 1p per flight (2p return, grand total 4p):beer:

    Including taxes???

ok here's something for you all....as the year is nearly coming to an end, i thought it would be a good idea to discuss THE BEST GRABBITS OF 2011.

i reckon it should be split between tesco and non-tesco grabbits; seeing as there have been many tesco glitches over the past year. :rotfl:

so here are my top 3 of the year (in no particular order):

    Tesco
    1. Tesco price check promise - free shopping for 2 months.
    2. OEL glitch
    3. 1p items: the main ones for me being the mayonnaise, pickled shallots, dormen xmas fruit n nut and cadbury roses.

    Non- tesco
    1. Viking - celebrations for 11p
    2. Jaegar code taking £20 off sale items
    3. virgin experience/very hot air balloon experience for 2 (back in january - we got £50 gift cards for nowt!)

there are probably many more that i've forgotten, so it would be interesting to see what other people think....

    :)

    good thinking :-)

    Mine are
    T related

T- OEP, even though i only got a teeny amount
    34p DM
    4p/1p items

    Non T related

Todays bargain of 3 months fat camp for less than £3
My helicopter ride in June, even though i still had to pay for it, it was reduced and amazing

D'you know what? I honestly cant remember any grabbits before i found you lot! I am sure there are some, i just cant think what they are :p

It was Thomas cook that were having cashflow problems not Thomson...posts like this really won't help their cashflow either..

Totally off Mr T subject but does anyone know if I paid for a holiday in full through Thomas Cook and they go under what will happen? Will I still get my holiday or do I lose it?

Please help cause I already done this before I knew about them being in trouble and holiday isn't until next year. I paid it off because I had the money and didn't want to get nearer the time and not have any to pay for it then need to borrow, now worrying

♥ Thanks for your concern. It's Tendinitis - have had cellulitis & it's not nice for your Mum ♥ & me - I got the shivers first (when poison is in your blood stream - according to Dr) & then the red hot scalding area (on my bum!) but just caught it in time :)

Oh that's good, not good you have tendonitis, but better than it being cellulitis;)You caused me a moment of panic when I saw red,hot foot;);)I have to get my mum to the doctors straightaway for antibiotics and failing that she ends up on a drip in hospital

No need to worry. They are covered by ABTA so you are covered.
Best to pay by c/c though as any refund can be claimed through your bank which might be quicker.
I'd heard that the banks had extended their loans anyway so it's probably nothing to worry about!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
