Thomson, Thomas Cook, they're all the same. You can pretty much guarantee that if one is in trouble the rest won't be far behind.
I'm with Michael O' Leary (boss of Ryanair) on this one...."Travel agents should be taken outside and shot".
Every time I've looked in to going somewhere I've found it cheaper to book it all myself individually.:)
But, and no offence to anyone, concentration, errr, I mean holiday camps with regimental meal times and what not are my idea of hell!0 -
After reading Happy's comment I feel slightly uneasy
as I've cancelled Croatia & booked Sorrento instead to see Pompei :T
So 2012 I get 2 see 2 places on my bucket list :j
Whilst you are in Sorrento there are some gorgeous places around there to see. You can get the local bus, or the ferry from Sorrento to Positano and also, Amalfi... and from Amalfi the bus upto Ravello.
The hydrofoil to Capri is also a good day out.
If you do get upto Ravello, this place has the most amazing views. It is a hotel, but you can pay a small fee to go in and see the gardens.

Well my leftover pie is in the oven, dishes are draining and I'm making a brew.
Who was it who was making a pie for the first time yesterday? Want to know how it went?
Mine is made from leftover mince, onions and gravy from last night.
Easy, peasy, squeeze of lemon
Gonna be finished off with stewed (whoopsied) apples served with toffee custard (last 2 from ambrosia glitch)
Fresh whoopsied pineapple will be snacked on tonight whilst watching a film from iplayer (there's 3 pages of films on there at the moment including a few Disney ones!!):A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Just seen this deal on meat and fish , so by experience there SHOULD be an extra £4 off if you buy 4 , one to check at the whoopsie shelf tonight I think!!
Lots in the deal too just need at least 4 to be massively reduced to less than £1 each ideally...

I've edited post 3 to include a Daily Mail link regarding 1p items. Handy to print off and keep with you for when you're being trouted.:beer:0

Managed to find some of the andrex today, I didnt know they were 1p until the SS till flaged it up as recalled item
so without waiting for a assistant to take them away I quickly went to a normal checkout. While I was in the queue there a trout in front of me on her break, she saw my rolls and said you know its only 24 per customer, I just ignored here :rotfl: and then she asked me how much they were I said 10p each thinking that would get her off my back needless to say the same happen at that checkout 'unknown item', the guy was nice and told me to try at dreded customer services desk. As I was walking towards cs I saw a mate of mine on his shift, I explained the situation and he was more then happy to help out. He asked me how much they are and how I knew they were 6p each so I told him I got some from a different store for that price i didn't mention this site just in case. He opened one of the tills and scanned some value tissues through equaling around £2.25 so I got all 4 strips for just under 5p each!
