Thomson, Thomas Cook, they're all the same. You can pretty much guarantee that if one is in trouble the rest won't be far behind.

I'm with Michael O' Leary (boss of Ryanair) on this one...."Travel agents should be taken outside and shot".

Every time I've looked in to going somewhere I've found it cheaper to book it all myself individually.:)

But, and no offence to anyone, concentration, errr, I mean holiday camps with regimental meal times and what not are my idea of hell!

You have alrealdy put the wind up snap ant with your ill informed post!

O' Leary has major foot in mouth problems and is a rip off merchant...

advertising flights for a pound but the end price is much, much higher..he was even thinking of charging a £1 to use the toilet! I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him...:p

Right, managed to get a clip strip of pan scrubbers scanning at 1p. Also some dog leads for a p!!

They are the pawgeous range in silver and black packaging. The lead itself is blue with white pokka dots. Two sizes, small and large. Sels all stated 1p! Lots of reduced pet stuff again. Ive only got cats so will donate these beauties. The dog leads, not the cats!

    Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I bought these xmas eve to put in gift pack for my friends doggies, I paid £1.75 for each, now I feel robbed will now have to go see if I can find some more just for that good feeling of donating them to make me feel better :rotfl:

What else is on your bucket list? I have a list of 30 things to do before i'm 30. I need some inspiration. Does anyone know where you can do wing walking?

I would like to swim with wild dolphins. I swam with some in Antigua but that was all arranged. Ideally I would like to just jump off a boat and swim with some wild ones!
Also swimming with sharks would be good, but when I bumped into a large barracuda whilst snorkelling that scared the life out of me :o

Also I would like to improve my swimming enough to do a charity open water swim. I wanted to do the Bournemouth pier to pier last year, but I wasn't good enough. Swimming 1.5 miles in the sea is sooooooo different to doing it in a heated pool. I need to find a short charity sea/lake swim.

I don't trust him as far as I could throw him either but I'm clever enough to know when and when not to book. I've flown all over Europe with Ryanair and I don't think I've ever paid more than £15 per person, per flight. Cheapest flights I ever got were to Spain and Belgium for a grand total of 1p per flight (2p return, grand total 4p):beer:

ok here's something for you all....as the year is nearly coming to an end, i thought it would be a good idea to discuss THE BEST GRABBITS OF 2011.

i reckon it should be split between tesco and non-tesco grabbits; seeing as there have been many tesco glitches over the past year. :rotfl:

so here are my top 3 of the year (in no particular order):

    Tesco
    1. Tesco price check promise - free shopping for 2 months.
    2. OEL glitch
    3. 1p items: the main ones for me being the mayonnaise, pickled shallots, dormen xmas fruit n nut and cadbury roses.

    Non- tesco
    1. Viking - celebrations for 11p
    2. Jaegar code taking £20 off sale items
    3. virgin experience/very hot air balloon experience for 2 (back in january - we got £50 gift cards for nowt!)

there are probably many more that i've forgotten, so it would be interesting to see what other people think....

    :)

Just went to collect my new lappie from a famous electrical company;)It was reduced from £899 to £399 but wasnt in stock when I ordered it, so had to collect it today. Surprise surprise when I got there they had made an error and didnt have one. This is where all my mse cyber buddies come in.You have taught me to stand my ground and I so did. This time last year I'd have said ok and just took a refund, but not now!!:rotfl::rotfl: SA said none in stock any where and offerd me a £20 gift card as compensation. I said No, I've ordered it, paid for it and I want it. He then offered me one worth £500 for the same price and I said no get the manager. Manager said pretty much the same thing, alternative slightly dearer laptop and £20 giftcard. I said no I want one to the value of £899 which is what I'd ordered. Both said no and wnet to talk to the store manager. He said no and I said let me speak to him and they said no he doesnt speak to customers!!!!!!!!I said fine, get me head office on your phone and I'll speak to them to which they said Sorry our phones don't work to head office!!:eek::eek::eek:SA went off to speak to store manager again as by then I said I wouldnt leave the store until he spoke to me!SA came back and said we've managed to locate you one up North and it will be here Monday:T:T:TSo standing my ground and the old Head office tricked worked a treat. Thanks guys for giving me the confidence to stick to my guns;)

:T:T:T Well done! Always pays to stand your ground and/or create a fuss in my opinion! You have to remember that these places just want to get rid of you and will do so as quickly as possible lol!
But, and no offence to anyone, concentration, errr, I mean holiday camps with regimental meal times and what not are my idea of hell!

Oh god me too! I go on hols to a static caravan where I am only limited by checking in time on the first day and out on the last, inbetween those times I can do whatever the hell I want at whatever time I want! And isn't that meant to be the whole point of holidays?!
