One weeks worth :eek:you'd have a heart attack if you saw my pile:rotfl:At least a month....poor Dh hasnt a tshirt in his drawers:rotfl: and what with ds being home for a week now he's gone through all the clothes he brought with him and most of what he has here:rotfl:. Had to buy him a pair of jeans in Ts last night. When I iron its as quick as possible....only do the front of shirts, well blazers/jackets are worn on top and as for ironing towels and underwear, life is too short. Nothing kinky in my house either!!! Nothin wrong in feeling smug, my ex was the same til I went on strike a few months before split and he realised his stupidity when he had to do his own :rotfl: Enjoy your time off, it'll take a while but you will come to look forward to the break and the boys will realise how special a mummy you are to them. I'm so close to dd and ds now its crazy xx
My last post before I retire for the night.
I have no idea what has come over me in the last few months but I'm a changed person. It used to be when it was just me & DS1 that the ironing pile was half way up the wall, floors were rarely hoovered and the bed never got made. Since the split, the bed is made every morning, I'm always on top on the washing & ironing (max 2 hours worth sitting), the house is always tidy albeit 'lived in' and DS1 is a big brother to DS2 so double trouble and I also find time to cook, look after the boys and even get to Ts on a semi-regular basis.
I'd no idea how worthless I felt but life is on the up. And if I can be half as close to the boys as I am to my mum I'll be over the moon. They are what keeps me going. In fact, just 2 days before Xmas and DS2 has just gotten tooth #4, he has just tonight started crawling properly (the last 2 months have been commando crawling) and DS1 used his potty with no tantrums :T
And with that, I bid you all goodnight.0 -

Ok finished my 1st bottle of naked wine and dh has gone to bed, dd is at her dads and ds is out.....do I open another bottle of something and really sample the delights of happys b&g bar or do I give up and sleep? Feeling pleased with myself as everything organised/wrapped/cleaned/bought/baked (apart from ironing) but theres bu***r all on tv so have to make that big decision:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0

Goodnight Caz, let me know what time you want me to call tomorrow :rotfl: So glad you're finding yourself again, know exactly where you're coming from....sounds like your boys have it made with a mum like you. My ds is 20 and living in England but I still get texts and calls a couple of times a week just saying hi/I love you or I need help. Just enjoy them while they're so small as it seems like yesterday I was coping with crawling, teething and potty training:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -
