Totally cannot sleep.
So much to do and so little time.
Can't get anything done now but doesn't mean I can just stop thinking about what needs to be done.

Damn it.

izzeyb there were no 1/2 price stickers on the 2 I got but were on some of the others, mine were priced £5.59 on label ( all identical packaging and description) but the SEL said £2.49 per kg. CS looked at the sell by date of mine and ones with 1/2 price sticker on and said mine were old stock therefore not in the deal! It didn't matter what I said she was having non of it nor was the deputy manager. I was too late home to phone HO so will try tomorrow.

Hi, I would phone CS but then it you get nowhere with a jobsworth, send an email to ceo's office detailing the excuse they gave you and the fact that they were not complying with Tesco company policy for an overcharge (old stock is not an excuse, they have one SEL and that is the currently selling price). It is not the customer's job to differentiate between old and new stock! Tell them you feel that the CS are in obvious need of CS training to enable them to comply with Tesco company policy on overcharges. The email as you probably know is philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com

Yesterday.... stopped in to Mr. T, where there was no green milk (!) but the lovely SA said they were going to have buckets of stuff to go for today, and they were starting to reduce it, but only taking off 10% or so yesterday...

Then popped in to Waitrose (across the street) for whoopsied bread- had none, but - and here is the good bit-

The meat/fish counter man said that today everything had to go and they would be reducing things to 20p. Don't know if that's 20p per pound/kilo or per thing - like fishcake... but I remember one year we did well and the best time to go was early lunchtime, because they wanted it cleared early.

...and for Sunshine, my guess is Dec 29 10:15 am 6 lbs 11 oz

Have a good 'un today!

Nearly forgot- found £10 near the trolleys at Mr. T and despite wanting to buy a thousand 1p items with it, I TURNED IT IN! ...and apparently if nobody claims it in 6 weeks, I can have it.... and buy a thousand 1p items!! :):T:)
