We use the plug-in thingeys and we still have mice coming in about 2 or 3 times a year - but we do have fields on 2 sides and a cemetery on the third side, so we're bound to get some coming in, especially harvest time

I've not caught up so forgive me if this has already been suggested, if I don't answer as I go I can never find the posts again:D

I used to have a problem with mice every winter but what worked for me was peppermint or spearmint essential oil. Just a dab on a rag or cotton wool and push it into whatever crack you think they may be living in (too early for those jokes, so don't bother please :D ) If they hate the smell so much I suppose that explains why one never sees mice chewing gum :rotfl:
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

    Morning Everyone:):):)

just wanted to say a Merry Christmas to you all as I wont be here for a couple of days.

I also wanted to add THANKS to everyone for keeping me sane these past few months, I am not sure you all realise what a lifeline the 11+ 'ers are to me and probably a lot of others.

We have had ups and downs, we have laughed and cried, pulled together and welcomed new people and even given oldies a second chance.:T

From babies to school, from university to weddings and funerals it's truly an amazing thread.:T

    Peace and love to all

    xxx

ps can someone pm me when sunshine has her baby as I will never find it when I get back!

The big chess tournament was taking place at the Plaza in New York. After the first day's competition, many of the winners were sitting around in the foyer of the hotel talking about their matches and bragging about their wonderful play. After a few drinks they started getting louder and louder until finally, the desk clerk couldn't take any more and kicked them out.

The next morning the Manager called the clerk into his office and told him there had been many complaints about his being so rude to the hotel guests....instead of kicking them out, he should have just asked them to be less noisy.
The clerk responded, "I'm sorry, but if there's one thing I can't stand, it's chess nuts boasting in an open foyer."

Old El Paso....the mexican food kits....they had a 3for2 offer on over the last couple of weeks where in some stores, extra dicounts were kicking in, making them either virtually free....or paying you to take them out of the shop!! The offer ends today and think most stores have sorted out the extra glitches on the offer as well!!
