Busy day for me getting the house all spick n span for tomorrows invasion!
OH is nursing a sore head from last nights mammoth booze up...( a couple of hours at the very most turned into 6!!) so he'll be as much use as a chocolate teapot!
Love it though when he's had a few.....get's all romantic much to our DS's disgust!! Kept telling him how much he "luuuurves your mum!" Won't love me as much when I find him jobs to do!!
Anyway, thought I'd wish you all a really lovely Christmas. Big hugs to those who are spending it alone or are feeling poorly.
Thanks for the laughs and the bargains....I was a late starter but hope to participate in ALL glitches next year!! :D

And just one question........if I put my sprouts on now, will they be ready by tomorrow? :D
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

A Russian spy named Rudolph was looking out of the window at some storm clouds brewing on horizon.

He turned to his wife and said, "It looks like rain"

His wife replied, "Don't be silly, it will be a beautiful day"

    He answered,

"Rudolph the Red, knows rain dear!"

Morning all, finaly back from shopping :) one to look for today i had a tesco large pork shoulder joint they ar! currently on offer was £5.49 kg Now £2.49 kg and there was a label stating this offer but all the joints were marked up at full price.
I bought a 4.359 kg in weight joint at full price £5.49 kg for £24.13 the use by date is 31 dec.
I paid and went to customer services and she was so not happy but another lady on the cs desk knew her stuff and told her in no uncertain terms that I was over charged so I get double the difference. The lady serving me was struggling to work out the over charge so in the end just refunded me the full price and gave me the joint. I know that wasn't double the difference but I was just so happy to get if for free! Lol

I'm so tired now tho only went to bed at 3.45 am and I got back up at 5.30am to go shopping! So cuddles and Christmas movie afternoon for me and the kids now :)

P.s I'm on my daughters I pod so don't know how to make the offer bold for people to see clearly

Many thanks dtd on two joints this morning :D

Merry Christmas to everyone on here. This thread (and previous incarnations) has made my Christmas so much better than it would have been. Free Xmas turkey (bernard Matthews), free Barbie doll toys (convertible car and teacher set), free ham, free honey shreddies, 1p nuts, CDM, very cheap moons and stars, old el Paso glitch paid for my spuds and sprouts, and so many more that I wouldn't have known about without you.

Thanks again everyone and have a good Christmas.
I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.
