Morning all
Dazi - thinking of you today, give your Dad a great send off x
Moiliere - safe travels x
First day off and what time did I wake? 6.57am
typical, 3mins before my alarm normally goes off! But I stayed in bed reading my kindle
got a cuppa and back to bed with the laptop.
I have no proper plans for today other than to do a massive tidy and clean. I want it all nice for Xmas, plus there is meant to be someone coming to view the flat tonight so I guess we should tidy!
OS wise - apart from the tidying I also want to make leek & potato soup as I have some leeks lurking in fridge, I also need to write my final food shopping list and may go shopping later today, or may put it off til tomorrow. IfI go shopping I'll take recycling to tip on way. DW emptied.
Have a good day all

Morning All,
Didn't get up until half nine
I do struggle going to sleep though.
Having the strangest dreams at the mo, night before last I dreamt I was having a face lift:rotfl:and last night that I was pregnant, exactly 20 wks and showing everyone my bump. Very strange as there is no chance of either happening.
Nice and quiet here just now, DH and DS2 at work and DS3 still in bed. The boys did their Christmas shopping yesterday so just need to wrap them and I have 3 pressies left to wrap.
We are all addicted to the Christmas Jigsaw at the minute, bit of a family tradition. Ended up all sat around the table last night with the tv forgotten:D
Going to get the washing done and dry today so that it's clear for Saturday when I have a lot of cooking and prep to do for Christmas day.
But for now going to sit and read my book for an hour and enjoy the peace.:D
Thinking of Dazi today, Have a safe journey Moliere.
Have a good day all J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning all!
Fell asleep again after OH got up, didn't wake till 9.15
Too much to do, so little time, but can't be bothered rushing, so am sitting on lappy drinking coffee and digesting porridge.
Thinking especially of Dazi today, hope dad has a good send off. Hugs to all, try not to stress too much over Christmas, the most important bit is managing to spend time with those important people, I can't wait till Tuesday till we have our delayed Christmas day together, although the threat of keeping the presents till then didn't go down very well with DS;)
Have a good day all!RIP Iain

Morning!
Nothing much to report here today... DS stayed over a friends last night... not heard anything about when he's coming home yet!
I have a midwife appt at 2pm, and DH and I are going to nip over to ASDA and get a radio times...! Since I can't do much we thought we would make the most of the Christmas TV we never normally watch it... so it'll be fun
Oh, and I am going to plan timings for Christmas food today... we have decided to go more buffet style... and non of us eat a lot... and I graze more then eat right now... so we thought this would work better for us this year! Who cares if it goes cold

After I had 4 lots of surgey in a year I got a really weak immune system and was constantly sick... at one point I had something non-stop for 10 weeks!!!! Dr told me to take a multi vitamin and within 3 months I stopped getting colds/virus'/flues/chest infections!
So if I was you I would RUN to the store and take it every day x
Hope you feel better soon xWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Morning All,
Dazi.. hope today goes as well as it can x
Moiliere.. safe journey wishes for you x
Had a lovely (sober) if very late night with our friend on Tuesday, he has now been decluttered off to Tonbridge for Christmas :santa2:picked up a couple of reserved bits in town yesterday then went to pain clinic, was feeling a bit odd (more so than usual
) on the way home then body went into shutdown mode  literally could not lift a finger
DP got me into bed about 2.30 pm & I'm still here. So although I have a long list of things to be done it will be worked through very slowly & I will be utilising DS & DP (who has stayed home today) to the max
Had an email from my sis in the west hebrides this morning to say that her Christmas prezzies had arrived :japparently she was helping at a charity lunch & when she came out the parcels were on the front seat of her car. She lives quite a way out & posty had obviously decided to save herself a journey :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope everyone has a stressless & productive day,
Hugs, spoons & healing vibes to those in need, please help yourselves.
Oh & welcome to newbies x

Morning, last day of work before 2012, so need to stay near laptop and mobile but don't expect to be busy at all. Already had the washer on, dishwasher on, tidied kitchen and cleaned bathroom, just got yard to sweep and wash and might pop into town to get car tax.
Bins were out for last time today but it wouldn't have been an issue if they'd not been emptied as we have very little rubbish nowadays as we have an Abel and Cole delivery each week which is really low on packaging and anything edible gets eaten by the chickens if we don't want it. We compost veg scaps the chucks wont eat (erm, egg shells, citrus and banana peel and onion tops are all now I reckon). Tetrapacks are a bugbear though - we don't have a local recycling point for them and my oat milk and our OJ come in them. So these, fire ash and cat litter are pretty much all that goes in our landfill bin.
Breakfast was cereal - we seem to have a huge amount of types and i'm determined to get them gone and out of the cupboard so finished off some honey nut cornflake type things with chocolate in. Very nice, but I'm already hungry again! Lunch will be HM bread with something and dinner - who knows, maybe tuna pasta bake.
Started making some fabric Christmas garlands last night, bit late but I had some patchwork squares which are two small for traditional patchwork really so I'm backing tiny square parcels to hang from ribbon and going to town with buttons and ribbons to pretty them up. Very quick to do and will make lovely gifts for next year if I do enough (unlikely that I will stick at this though!).
I didn't get the floors done yesterday so I really must hoover and mop today, although it's one of thse jobs that doesn't get noticed - ever!!!
Hugs to all.0 -
Hi guys
I am sitting here reading through threads and posts on cleaning and baking and housework, knowing full well that I need to be "doing" not reading
I have lost the motivation today, my little boy is happily watching bugs life so he's occupied, my husband has gone out in a grump (moody git) as he has to pick up a bag of frozen teacakes from iceland ... hard world aint it?!
SO there isn't really any excuse for me to be sitting here on my arris lolKeely0
