Car boot sales (Merged discussion)

  • It's not bad, though it tends to be busier during the better weather. It's like all car boots, you take your chance!! If I remember correctly, the fee for the car was £5. Not sure if that is still the cost, but it was the last time I did it.

Any idea of a start time? Dont fancy a really early morning
  • Good question, I really honestly can't rememeber. I think it accepts traders from 7am, but at this time of year you'd be ok arriving round 9am methinks :)

The Jim Baker Bowling Statium on the outskirts of Parkgate has started again as of Friday 28th April.

Sellers allowed in at 5pm, buyers allowed in at 6pm.

Not much of a turn out yesterday but word has not spread yet. I would expect this to increase over the next few weeks.
    Bout Ye!!!

There is a car boot sale every Saturday morning at St.Donard's church,Beersbridge Road,Belfast. It always seems to have loads of stalls and plenty of buyers.Hope this helps.

    hiya,

looking on the net i found two REALLY GREAT sites that list car boot sales, searchable by area, with dates times phone numbers and even website links (but one should always check the night before, just to be safe)

    http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/carbootsuk/index.htm

    http://www.carbootjunction.com/compl...t-listings.php

they are both free, welcome contributions to keep them up to date, and have an affiliate link to click on to keep them going.

    happy booting !
