cheers
There are 2 car boot sales on the Portaferry Road, Newtowards, past Martin Phillips carpets and before the airport. They are next to each other.
Start early about 7am on Sunday morning, you can usually still get a space up til 9am.0 -

Hi, I live in Dromara and deperately need a double buggy!! Urgently!! It'll have to be cheap as I haven't the proverbial pot to 'you know what in'. Which car boot sale would you recommend? I'm willing to travel. Heard about the Dundrum one, but (excuse my stupidty) where is it? Is it in Dundrum, Co.Down? I'm completely useless-I Know!0

Yes, it's Dundrum on the way to Newcastle. It's on the left-hand side as you come into Dundrum, you can't miss it. Don't know if it's Sat or Sun though.
There's also one at Windsor Park every Sun from about 10am-1pm.0 -
The Dundrum boot sale is on a Sunday. There's also a boot sale just off Dunsilly Roundabout (heading towards Junction One) on a Saturday.

That's great guys, Thanks for 'keeping me right'. I will be off to Dundrum on Sunday. Fingers crossed I'll find a double buggy. Never been to a car boot sale before-quite excited! Sad, I know.......0

I live in Lisburn and i was wondering if there are any good car boot sales around this area?
My fiance and i went to one advertised locally but we barely made the money to cover the £5 entrance fee. We have quality items to sell and people were giving us dirty looks when we wanted £25 for a cut glass vase worth £115! :rotfl:
Any suggestions welcome!

if it was worth £115, you would be safer putting your items on ebay. we've sold some ornamental plates etc on ebay that would made only a few pounds at a car boot sale making £60...0

I'm in Lisburn too and recommed you stay clear of the one on the ballinderry road at the church, doesn't see much trade.
Have you tried Windsor on a Sun morning?
If it anything expensive , ebay it, you'll prob get more for it tht way.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

thanks for the info guys, but i had a bad experience with Ebay. Im worried too that the item would get broken or damaged in the post.
