    Evening Everyone

    Welcome newbies :hello:

Camelot - ((hugs)) to you, it is very hard, but sometimes the truth has to be said. If he is not man enough to want to see his parents and have you in his life, then he will live to regret it.

Made 3 Mary Berry Christmas Cakes today, had a disaster on the third, my old Kenwood Chef threw a fit, the K beater had cracked, and bent and this then broke my Glass bowl (I said it was old). I had to throw the butter and sugar away due to slivers of glass, and make the third one by hand. Will give one to my elderly neighbours for Xmas.

Decided yesterday to invite some carvanning friends over for Boxing Day & 27th, so blitzed the spare room, need to raid the freezer, as still using up. They are childless and have lost their parents as a little older than us and have nothing happening for Xmas. Have now got all the presents wrapped, a few cards to hand deliver, will do this tomorrow when we go to Aldi, then can relax.

(((hugs))), Hi-5's, Spoons, and positive vibes all round, especially LW - hope the shoulder eases soon.

    Take care. DG

I'm clearly going mad...convinced I posted on here first thing, but apparently not! DH up to start rotary collection at station at 6.30am so I went to Mr T's for 7am and did most of the "big" shop! Nowhere near as big as in years gone by as there'll only be three of us here at the weekend. Then spent an hour at a friend's house going through that VAT claims form that's been bugging me for months - and left knowing exactly what I now need to track down to get it all done. Two heads are very definitely better than one!
Took a neighbour off for an appointment this afternoon and finally went to meet DS at the station. I'm tired, but feel I really have got to grips with some of what's been hanging over me for some time.
Howver, have still to put sheets on DS's bed, so best whip off and get that done! Hope today has been OK for all of you..

  • monnagran you are very welcome :)
If your computer is freezing it probably needs more ram (this is the memory that makes the computer process information quickly) defragging will help it run a little faster though, as will clearing any old files out of the computer.

Camelot :T for giving some of your bonus to those in need :T
I am going to pop into the Sally army citadel tomorrow and give some money to them, because they do so much good.

Nice to see you back JackieG, I hope that all is as well as things can be under the circumstances x

Dazi Safe journey and I hope things go ok tomorrow ((((Hugs)))) x

    Welcome kelen :santa2:
