Morning everyone. I'm having one of those mornings where I'm just so tired I can't keep my eyes open and feel all funny :( OH made me a coffee before he left but it's not working! Yesterday at work was so stressful and I don't expect today will be any better, my job is the lowest and I'm only PT but I had to do a report for a client that usually someone in the "management office" does and I really hope it was okay. I must finish packing when I get in today and I'll do another wash so everything is clean when I get back from christmas.
(((hugs))) to everyone and all on the mend

    Morning all,

Brrr feels cold here, just having a cuppa, then dd and I are off to so the main christmas food shop, have written three lists for the three shops we want to visit, and have planned it like a military operation, :D.

Will hopefully be home early enough to finish the cooker off, and I need to finish my dads photo album.

I decided last night that for puds, I am going to make a lemon tart, a chestnut truffle cake, and a white chocolate cheesecake with rhubarb compote, all from a vegetarian magazine I picked up, they all look lovely, will make on Fri or Sat :T

Dinner tonight will be fish fingers chips and beans, nice and simple, and a bit more out of the freezer.

I think Dazi may be heading back down south today, to lay her dear dad to rest tomorrow, I shall be thinking of you, safe journey xx

Kathy, safe journey home for you too xx

LM hugs to you hun xx

    Have good days all xx

    Morning everyone

Love and hugs to those that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x

Wet underfoot here this morning. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock.

Last day at work this side of xmas, woo hoo, have a 2 hour training session at the other office today then have to drive back to normal office to work for 1 hour before finishing. Dinner last night was pork chops, mash, veg and gravy, popped round our friends for a quick drink when DH finished work as it was his birthday and he's officially retired! (lucky git!!) but didn't stop long as they were going out for dinner. Was just about to dish up our dinner and friend phoned to say she was on her way and was it ok to call in? Told her of course it was so she came for coffee and a chat and she left at 9pm, she's still shocked over BIL sudden death last week but is trying to do her best to be there for everyone.

Once I've finished work I will be buying a sack of potatoes, and buying a few bits then won't be going near another supermarket until after xmas! At some point today I must ice my xmas cake, note to self! Decided Monday night I would have a new mobile so did some on-line research and have got a good deal and ordered one and it should be hear before xmas! It's very different to what I've got and had before so hope I can get on ok with it! Will really get stuck into jobs and bits I need to get done this afternoon as going to visit friend tomorrow morning to take prezzies and have a chat and coffee. Better get a wriggle on.

Hugs to those that want/need them, keep safe and well x

    Morning everyone,

Finished work for Christmas yesterday and I am now realising just how much I have left to do. Off to the supermarket this morning and then wrapping this pm while I am waiting for my new DW to be delivered.

My friends baby is still in hospital but is now on the mend, thanks for all the positive vibes and prayers yesterday.

Hugs to all in need especially Lou, Dazi, Lamewolf and Beth.

JulieG, I am so excited for you!

    Bramble, how is your lip?

Tea will be pot luck from the freezer tonight.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

    morning all

slept a bit better last nihgt. kept waking up coughing and sneezing though  i am horribly wheezey so trip to drs is needed :( really dont want to add to the christmas stress by not feeling 100%

ds will be going to nursery just for a little while so we can crack on and get wrapping. he is still asleep at the mo. he's really tired at the moment. he fell asleep just after 6 last night and has been asleep since  he seems to have hollow legs at the moment as well so i'm expecting him to shoot up again sometime soon. maybe his feet will actually grow too (only grown half a size in 15months :rotfl:)

hubby is home for the rest of the week so he can help to have a clean and wrap. we have a sitter this evening so we can go and do a food shop. i prefer going late as it is usually quiet and i cant get moving that early in the morning :o

i normally make mince pies and a yule log but just going to buy them this year. just so it makes things a bit easier. not very os but it will save my sanity

    right must get moving...

hope everyone is well and have a good day all

Just lost a long post :(

    Grey and damp here today.
My little doggy guest has settled in well and is sitting with his head on my knee looking at me, I know what he wants cos he has just put his paw up, which means a W.A.L.K , but he will have to wait until DS gets out of his pit, it is impossible for me with dodgy legs.

Not much doing today DH is taking me to Aldi tomorrow and I have to pick the veggies up from my local Greengrocer on Christmas Eve which will be ready because I put my order in last week :D

Welcome mucky moo:santa2: great bunch of girls and boys on here :D

    Morning everyone.

Lou hope Dr can sort you out. Sorry the Vicks idea wasn't 100% effective. If it's any consolation I have s cold coming too, chest feels tight and sore. Thanks kids for giving me your germs

Plans are to get out of this house today. Have been here for 2 whole days and I can see DS going nuts so a walk over local fields in order and past the local Xmas tree farm :D Mindee will not want to go but quite frankly it's tough ;) I've only got her for today and tomorrow.

Made a big batch of leek and potato soup overnight so that needs blitzing. Am dong very little today as I was in my feet all day yesterday and I was shattered. No more baking, if we run out it's back to shop bought :o

Nowt else going on, not sure about tea, might have jacket potato and some salad we need to use up.

Dazi safe trip down and will be thinking of you all tomorrow xxx

Shalva and finding my way hugs to you both for not being near your family at this time xxx Shalva hope your DS is OK too xxx

LW want to send you massive wolfie hugs, I never realised mentally what you quite battle with every day xxxx

Hugs and spoons all round xxx
