What, a year ago?! :rotfl:
Only joking, you mean this week? No worries, the Whyte letters are exactly as shown in the top thread listed under a couple of PPCs I think.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It will be instigated by being passed down to the next monkey in a suit at the "debt collector" desk.0

Because they can't recover anything from you legally, they try to bully you with threats. Just keep on ignoring!
Last year I lent my car to a friend when I went abroad, she commuted to work but left the car parked in the railway station in London. Never paid the parking fee. Over the course of a few months, she accumulated 29 (count 'em!) tickets from something called Meteor Parking demanding £90 on each or £45 if paid promptly. On the first two or three, I got paperwork from Meteor with the usual demands- I wrote back on the first and very politely told them to stow it; the other two went into the bin. After that they never sent me anything in respect of the other tickets, never heard any more about them. As soon as they realised I wasn't going to be bullied they didn't waste so much as the postage following it up. If it went to Court and you lost, never mind, you'd be able to pay with the Lottery jackpot which, statistically, is more likely to happen to you.0 -
I was in a Sainsburys CP the other day and walked past the ECP bloke issuing a ticket. I just walked past and loudly said 'unenforceable'
I see the local TCP at the local ASDA get into a couple of spats with motorists with their rep saying "They'll take you to court if you don't take the ticket". Yeah, right. Weirdly they have no problem with me, I often go up to the member and sweet talk them - even though I have other methods
Seriously, I don't see UKPC, TCP, ECP, NCP, *CP as a threat.
As for the page on the UKPC website which says about their court activity, they're hardly going to publically state "We don't do court, it's expensive, we loose, we've not got a leg to stand on". If you were running that company would you? - No, you'd try to convince potential clients that you're capable of the job.0 -

The ECP bloke in my local Sainsburys has been banned from staying in the front entrance bit for more than a couple minutes at a time, as they pay him to patrol the car-park not to sit inside, so even if it's freezing cold, wet or windy he's got to be seen doing his job.
I think the manager of the store has had enough with ECP driving away customers and is looking into any way to sack them.0 -
PPc's have to bid to ply the scam in car parks, almost every company or firm that employs a PPC is on a cut of the scam money.
When you have free money sloshing around, people loose all sense of fairness and justice and just Grab the money.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
