Intense discussion? Don't think so. More a case of p**s taking - it's not so much that it's a waste of time but there's only so many time travel jokes I can think of.
Whilst you never seem to get bored of talking about yourself I must admit I'm finding it a little dull and besides it's spoiling other peoples threads now.
I'll try and engage in some debate with you if you like but I promise my fellow posters that I'll spend less time in Geneerworld.
Geneer: Doctor, Doctor, I keep seeing into the future
Doctor: When did this start?
Geneer: Next Wednesday.
Meaningless assertion.
Hypocricy.
Ad hominen.
The holy triumverate. Well done wotsits. :T0 -
No matter.
Gosh. Pulling in money from multiple accounts.
A large payment out in a BACS payment to a solicitors.
Payment to a removal company.
And the first mortgage payment.
Been away enjoying the festive period.
From the above, it looks like you bought in Feb 2010 and not Dec 2009.
Maybe you confused offer with bought.
It'll be quite easily defined in your mortgage documents.
You can transfer the funds to the solicitor on the day of the transaction, but that is leaving it very last minute and at risk of incurring additional costs if there are any delays.
I'd guess you bought around the 04th Feb
Nevermind, well done once again.
P.s. you will be able to use your number 2 avatar come February:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

Before you were singing "the storyteller" and joining in the general denialism. Now your trying to haggle over the exact definition of buying. Boy, you non-bulls sure don't appear to mind embarassing climb downs. Lordy, what a difference a wee break over the festive period makes lite.
Sorry but I can't even give you this minor piece of post-game self comforting. Offer, acceptance and completion are part of the over all process of "buying".
So it doesn't really matter.
How like you to mistake grindingly meaningless semantic bickering as an acceptable fall back position. Shame you had to look to Pimperni1 for inspiration.0 -

Don't worry, your still a storyteller.
Even with discussing facts you like to twist the real facts into a little storySorry but I can't even give you this minor piece of post-game self comforting. Offer, acceptance and completion are part of the over all process of "buying".

No, not quite.
Offer and acceptance is not buying. this is only legally binding when the missives are signed.
Even then until you complete, the property is not bought
Remebers you didn;t say you were "buying" in Dec 2009, you said you "bought"How like you to mistake grindingly meaningless semantic bickering as an acceptable fall back position. Shame you had to look to Pimperni1 for inspiration.
?????????? Is that a geneer random sentence generator I've been reading about?:wall:

Sure. Just like picking up a loaf of bread in a shop is part of the process. Great analogy, but one where I'm sure you'll agree you've not actually bought anything til you've paid for it.
However I agree it doesn't really matter much which is all the more reason for it to be baffling as to why you mislead/lied/mistakenly said* Dec 2009

Because i made the offer in december and it was accepted in december.
The Price w a s therefore agreed in december. Simples.
Your right of course it makes not a jot of difference. Which is why it baffles me that anyone would be willing to argue the toss over it.its not as if lite has a history of choosing to focus on meaningless points of pedantry to divert attention from his humiliating defeats.0 -

When processed the figures will go in February stats though.
No doubt you'll disbelieve that and try to wangle it into the geneer lag theory.
Simple facts are, you bought in February and you will contribute to February stats.:wall:

I have this notion of geneer as a cuddly version of the villain in se7en, tying a house to a bed for 2 years and taking photos of it, updating his avatar etc. The rest of us find the clues as he chooses to reveal them and pile in like Morgan Freeman / Brad Pitt (me, natch) and go "wow, can you imagine the level of dedication it takes to do this?"0

Not as much dedication as 5 years of one note Edinburgh obsessathons which back fired time after time after time.0 -

Sounds like Q1 2010 it is then. :rotfl:
Another bull comes around to my way of thinking.
Without realising it.
Offer made/accepted december 2009.
Shows up in stats february 2010.
Gosh. Sounds like my "lag theory" is spot on, doesn't it.
Poor non-bulls. Can't even get meaningless fall back positions right.0
