You missed devon off the list.

No I didn't, it seems even Graham is giving up, apart from the occasional misguided defence of geneer.

Graham has been on something of a Christmas sabbatical, I believe.

Hah, not really, I used to post here a lot more often. Now I log in and all I see is geneer, Derv and Renoman spamming every thread with utter crap. I love a good internet argument ( ;) ) but these ones are getting very dull.

A little unfair, I generally just respond to digs with a precision/tactical nuclear strike, leaving the likes of Devon and DervProf reeeling in defeat. geneer is another beast entirely, he's too slow to realise that he's lost. His strategy is to go one and on and on until people stop posting, then he calls it a victory (a lot like that cartoon I posted a couple of pages back). I just went with him for once as I had nothing much else to do and he simply dug himself further into a hole.

Nah, graham is itching to get in on the action, he just can't be heard above the noise of geneer shouting at the internet.

And inspector Monkfish when he used to post on here.

You are right about 'no achievement' (I'm probably guilty of looking back with rose coloured glasses) but about 3-4 years ago I do think there was far less pettiness and squabbling (but maybe I'm wrong maybe I just didn't get drawn into it back then). I may follow your lead and merely read more, although to be honest I don't think there is much to be gained from reading here.

No wonder you have such problems handling geneer. You're here to achieve things? :rotfl:

If you can't cope with the arguments, petty bickering, simple taunts, childish pictures and circular "debates" then you need to follow your own advice and move on.
As Derv says, it's amusing from time to time.

Pick a player and wind 'em up.

It just so happens (can't imagine why) that a few are picking on geneer at the moment, but he loves it and can evidently cope with it.
People who have to announce "ignore-fests" and virtually beg others to join in need to take a deep breath and move on to the Pets forum. All IMO of course.

All of this because I advised the forum that I bought a couple of years ago. Insane that its proven so controversial.

JB, we may have our differences, but just like me it appears as if you cannot abide a hypocrite, and I give you due respect for that.

Those posters who, after 15 pages if intense discussion, suddenly decide its a waste of time? Who are then compelled to furiously post the same across thread after thread.
The mea culpa's as they flaggelate themselves for falling "to geneers level", somehow managing to forget the fact that they get down all by their lonesomes.
    Text book performances.

From my perspective, I hope we can all put my happy homeowner status behind us, and allow the forum to get back to the serious business of discussing who did what in 2004, and whether or not house prices will rise over the next 100 years.

I'm talking about after the recession you pratt.

Even so are you saying your personality failings are a result of the recession? I don't think so I reckon all that biterness comes from the fact that you haven't achieved much, what is it you own? only 25% of a modest house (jointly with your wife) after graduating many years ago :rotfl:See geneer what you have failed to recognise is that the decent qualifications that you have are not the end product. They are supposed to be the keys to a successful career that brings you financial rewards, something you seem to have missed out on.

Just wanted to say goodbye to you in my own way, I'm not leaving it's just I'll be doing other things more of the time. Feel free to respond but I think I'll just call you a pratt everytime that you do as I have no real wish to communicate anything else to you.

Intense discussion? Don't think so. More a case of p**s taking - it's not so much that it's a waste of time but there's only so many time travel jokes I can think of.

Whilst you never seem to get bored of talking about yourself I must admit I'm finding it a little dull and besides it's spoiling other peoples threads now.

I'll try and engage in some debate with you if you like but I promise my fellow posters that I'll spend less time in Geneerworld.
