Well I hope your proof is better than the poor effort so far. I suspect it won't be because the more proof you have to give the more you cement your position/back story on here and the less wriggle room you have when debating.

Note: When I refer to cementing your back story, I don't necessarily mean that its true, just that its a version your geneer logon cannot get out of.

What better than an avatar specifically kept up to date to mark my homeowner status.

Better than a series of quotes which, in retrospect, scream I BOUGHT?

Better than payments made to "HBOS Mortgage".

Better than regular series of direct debit payments to "Halifax" commencing in Feb 2010.

I'm going to give you a chance RM.
I want you to think about this, and consider if tin-foil hat wearing denialist is a role that suits you.
I suspect a humiliating climb down now won't be as bad as a humiliating climb down later.

    Well?

    :)

I believe that he's insinuating that despite an overwhelming amount of evidence to the contrary he'd rather stick to his boss eyed theory that I, apparently did not buy 2 years ago, and have been using a time machine to plant the evidence that I did.

I think. Its a bit inconsistent.

He's also saying that I now claim I am not a bear.
Which is a bit strange as I am a bear. I've only clarified that I'm simply not the "uber-bear 70% fall".
Perhaps their perspective has been somewhat damaged by their obsessive focus.

I think you have misunderstood my post geneer I was asking RM (everyone) what point is bigdeflationfirst trying to make (not RM)

Hamish is a prime example of a bull turned bear. There are others on this very thread :)

See, now I'm all for this -

    mmt_newbiev2.gif

But this sort of thing does tend to make one a bit less welcoming -
I am talking about the fact that we will not see the real bottom of the housing crash until interest rates are back to normal, and there is a clear out of all the repossessions that are looming.

    Both 'new' users. Hmmmmmm.

Nope I'm not saying you used a time machine to plant 'overwhelming evidence to the contrary' (LOL!:rotfl:). I'm saying the only way you bought in 2009 would be if you got in a time machine from 2011 (clearly this didn't happen and so I don't believe you bought in 2009) and that your 'evidence' is so flimsy that it'd fall apart in your hands if you could just grasp it.

Therefore there are no inconsistences, but just because you're a little slow I'll spell it out for you:

I don't believe you bought a house in 2009, with our without the use of time travel.

I don't believe your evidence. It's so vague and ambiguous it could mean anything at all. You simply spent a couple of weeks looking at your past posts that were a bit vague and used them as 'evidence'.

There, no inconsistences at all. Any way you look at it I think you're a liar. You always have been. Hope that helps clear things up for you. :D

Erm. Your avatars were actually a face with a distorted smile and then a '2' which appeared about 3 weeks ago.

Not really compelling evidence is it geneer? :rotfl:

p.s. your current avatar is a person winking which appeared when you revealed you had bought a house. I'm assuming this will be 'compelling evidence' that proves you were just having us on if house prices crash next year and you decide that you didn't buy after all. :D

As far as your other evidence is concerned, well I notice you haven't commented on my compelling bank account evidence that shows you're a millionaire!! Why is that?

    :rotfl:A 2 appearing 2 years after I'd bought. Shocking.

Going with the "if it happened on another forum it didn't happen gambit?" Doesn't really stack up does it RM.

Can't help but notice you've neglected to mention the rest of the compelling evidence.

    The penny dropping is it?

I'm guessing theres going to be a "I WAS KIDDING ALL ALONG GENEER I BELIEVED YOU FROM THE START FUNNIEST THING IVE EVER SEEN" in your near future. ;)

    Still, can't say I didn't give you a chance.

I've mentioned the other 'compelling evidence' in a p.s. perhaps you could go back an read it?

A '2' appearing when you suddenly hit on the idea that it would be a jolly good idea to pretend you have bought a house 2 years age. Yes, compelling evidence indeed!! :rotfl:

p.s. you even undermine your own 'evidence' by blanking out your actual monthly payments. I can understand you blanking out your name, sort code, account number, etc. but why blank out the amount you are paying each month? Even an employee at RBS couldn't use that to track someone down. Blanking it out jusy makes people think you have something to hide - like the fact that it was just £100, a direct debit to your halifax pension? Or whatever. Why blank out the amount unless it doesn't look like a monthly mortgage amount?

Still electing to "forget" a fair bit aren't you.

    Lets help you out.

The 1 and 1.5 did actually happen. Rinoa, Heathcote, Pimperne1 can confirm. Out of sight is not out of mind, regardless of how much you wish it were.

And the payments to my "halifax pension or whatever".
Just happened to start in Feb 2010.

Oh you also forgot the HBOS Mortgage setup, which I use for overpayments. HBOS MORTGAGE....lots of wriggle room in that one.

Then of course the posts which, lets face it, basically say IVE BOUGHT ALREADY, to anyone who's not emotionally disturbed.

    So one more chance.
Or are you forced to just keep running with it and hope no one notices you're up to your neck in an egyptian river?

Please let it be the latter. :)

*sigh* this is getting tedious now. The '1' and '1.5' avatars were on a different forum and could have signified anything. It could be to do with the amount of time you were on that forum, the age of your child, your mental age, the time in hours since you had a row with pimperne1, etc etc. I'm sorry geneer, but it's not proof of anything unless you stated at the time why you were using it.

I have a mechanic as my avatar, it doesn't mean its proof that I'm a mechanic.

As far as your other proof. I notice you haven't commented on my screen dump of your Halifax current account that shows, proof positive, that you are a multi-millionaire. Why have you not commented on that??

If I has set this scam up, with over two years worth of waiting to deliver the punch line and devastate people from CC who I had been arguing with for even longer than that, I would have been damned sure to leave evidence - unequivical evidence - that I had bought and intended winding them up. All you have delivered are some vague comments that, just like your avatar 'evidence' could be used to mean anything.
