I totally agree, wait til they open the comments section up on that.

I wonder how many of these so called 20% jobs being found, are above an hourly rate of £6.50 which my local town and WP providers seem to specialise in.

What are the requirements of the 'course' then? I can't get anyone to tell me that.
What it was meanto be & what it really is, are 2 different matters.

It's meant to be a personalised service, matching people to jobs, getting them into sustainable work.

Which you have already experienced. :rotfl:

How can they match anyone to jobs? They are not recruitment agencies

"It's meant to be a personalised service, matching people to jobs, getting them into sustainable work."

Afraid my experience along with many others across the uk is far from this line of thought. My experience isthat my provider is nothing more than a very in experienced recruitment agency.

I do work in a specialised sector and they dont have a bloody clue what to do with me or others, just one dumb !!! training course after another which will lead to nowhere and a qualification which isnt worth bog roll. The goverment need to wake up along with the self righteouses twits out there and realise the obvious which is stated in red. There are many councils across the uk stating this,i wonder why.Mr grayling thinks everythings fine, must be nice getting paid a huge chunk inventing ideas which dont have a hope in hell of working.

"Theproblem we face is that the jobs simply aren't there," said SteveHoughton, leader of Barnsley Metropolitan Council, "so no matter how goodthe work programme is, there aren't jobs for people to go to."

Onlya tory minister could come out with such a delusional statement,

Whenthe programme was launched in June 2011, the government said it hoped that 40%of people on it would get a job but speaking to the PM programme on BBC Radio4, Employment Minister Chris Graylingsaid he was still pleased with the progress.

I have wrote back to them:

    Dear Sirs

I refer you to the letter I received today your ref XXXXXXXXXX

Please can you tell me why the reply is about benefits? You ramble on about issues relating to benefits and pensions but did you even read my email?

Why are you talking about something I have not asked about? You tell me to consult my office that is paying me benefit to find out what is available?

My email is about the Work Programme and if you all knew what it actually is & what I am doing on it? I have asked you what it can do for me with TWENTY YEARS accounts experience when XXXXXX have told me there is nothing that they can do for me as they do not get people like me on the Work Programme!

So I say again please READ the email below and answer the questions. I as a voter have the right to know the answers to some simple questions and you can not even do that.

I will send this email every Tuesday till you reply correctly to the questions I have asked. If in 4 weeks time I still have no sensible reply I will be contacting my MP.

I am disgusted at the reply I have to be honest but never expected anything more as NO ONE can answer a simple question. I am of course going to put this reply on the internet for other people on the Work Programme to see!

I want them to tell me what the WP is and what they actually think me and all of you lot should be doing on it as it was meant to be tailor made for each and every one od us. That reply is 100% proof they are just sending standard letters about benefits to everyone who challenges them and they are showing themselves up by doing that.

I want a letter so I can take it to my provider and say this is what the Gov say you are meant to be doing etc

This is also proof they actually have NO idea what is really happening to people who are on the WP!

Your asking them questions which would have a very negative affect on their jobs if they responded to you with the truth,i bet their hoping you will go away.Send this to some media outlets daily mail the guardian they may well be able to get them off their !!! to respons with some kind of answer.
