When I signed at the job centre yesterday I was told I am excused signing on 28th March due to industrial action and payment will be sent automatically.0

Me too. I was told that "due to circumstances beyond their control" the JC would be closed on my next signing day so I would be paid automatically. When I asked what the circumstances were he looked shifty and muttered "strike" lol At least he had the decency to be embarrassed.0

Has anyone heard of this signing on by post. Its being mentioned on the Discussion Board?:footie:0

the only time I've heard of signing by post is if you live too far away from a jc and it would cost too much for you to get there in person.
Your total travel time by public transport to and from the Job Centre must exceed four and half hours before you can be considered for 'signing by post'0 -
