what does anyone think about this increased pressure and now being asked to contact companies on spec or you wont be paid. You have to agree to contact employers by phone and on spec etc.
Are the firms going to get sick of this everyone hassling them for jobs that dont exist?
Did the government ask them if they minded.:footie:0 -
Businesses are already fed up with the number of cold calls ,unsolicited post and e-mails that they are getting everyday. And is now deem to be a major item of concern to business,
It is only a matter of time before they follow the example set by businessman Richard Herman.0 -
Krishnan Guru-Murthy challenged Emma Harrison on the Channel 4 news about a JSA claimant's assertions that the A4E Work Programme provider only required him to attend "15 minutes a month", to which Emma Harrison replied, "It's a very improbable statement...there are certain requirements".

I have read many similar statements on this thread, that Work Programme providers are only mandating attendance once every four to six weeks for 10-15 minute interviews.
If claimants complain that the Work Programme providers are not providing enough support, the likely outcome will be further mandated activity, which nobody on the Work Programme wants.
The claimants rarely complain, thus avoiding further mandates, and the Work Programme providers keep quiet because they get away with minimal provision.0 -
