You always have a negative attitude to other people's post unless they have their heads up your @$$ and agree with everything you say. You started your negativity towards me when I was in the early stages of going through my providers compliant procedure.
I know they dont read all CVs or give everyone a fair chance and I have never claimed otherwise but I think if I managed to find around 2400 suitable vacancies a year I would be employed.
I was giving you advice as to what you should do, if you didnt want it then you obviously never had to take it. So glad you have it all sorted now
Did I say they were all suitable? Some I am over qualified for and I have the proof and it's been given to the JC and they shrug their shoulders and say 'we can't do anything about it'
Ah well when you have been out of work another 100 years and applied for that many come back and tell me you have have a job.
If they dont read all CV's and do not give anyone a fair chance how easy do you really think it is to get a job against people in work?0 -
So you barley apply for 5 jobs a month but are still allowed to sign on? Why are you not trying harder to look for ANY work? Any job you can do you should be applying for it! I apply for shop work, admin work accounts work from NMW upwards.
Two years out of work and to me you have put in no effort
Have a jab at me when I have said nothing to you and expect the same back.
Unlike you I have flown the nest and I have kids, national minimum wage aint gonna cut it for me. I want a job that will reflect the qaulifications I worked hard to get and make me and my family better off.
14 months out of work and if I had put no effort in I wouldnt be allowed to claim JSA.0 -

You do not know anything about me so do not comment on my personal life.
You have to work for NMW if offered a job. Your agreement will say that.
Obviously someone like me with 20 years experience in accounts deserves nothing more than NMW! I have worked hard to get where I was and have it all taken away from me and my life.0 -
NMW does really cut it for anyone apart from school leavers really.
The fact of the matter is that employers tend not to employ well qualified professional people for NMW roles as they know they will leave as soon as something better comes along.
Many sectors where they employed professional/highly qualified workers has now shrunk leaving professional types in an employment no mans land. They cant get jobs in their professions and NMW employers wont have them either.
So in real terms the highly qualified professional is not that much better off than the youths with few qualifactions. Thats exactly how it is.0 -
no figure is fabricated its been the same since I began signing on.0

During my appointment on friday my consultant (same one that tried to threaten me) asked how my job search was going I said I have been staring at the same jobs for 2 weeks and have applied for all the ones suitable for me. I asked the point of me coming in 3 times a week just to look at the same vacancies, turns out I got a reuslt as my next appointment was made for 3 weeks time. Dont know if my letter to the Chief Executive has anything to do with it as I havent received a response from that yet.0

I'm thinking not, but this whole thing with the 'Black Box' aspect I can see them trying to threaten me if I don't tell them. Already figured out what I'm going to do when I land a job, can't wait to see their faces0

Same here I only tell them about interviews after the fact, but when one is actually fruitfull I will only inform the JC when signing off and not my WP provider.0 -
