however the "advisor" was VERY interested in the three Interviews he had lined up ( obtained from his own worksearch) and wanted a "contact name and address" - simply so that IF he was offered a job, Sarina Russo ( the provider) could claim a success story and apply for payment for "finding him work"

she was VERY surprised when my husband didn't supply this information - they will be paid when and IF they secure my husband a job - but as they don't seem to have any jobs to offer, that seems unlikely .
never tell them about job interviews you have unless you are in such a bad financial position that you need help with smart clothing for the interview. it is fine to tell them about interviews afterwards when you have already been rejected. that way its too late for them to interfere in anyway and as you didnt get the job they cant take credit either.

I was seriously thinking of having the BT line cut off as I can't afford it but they wouldnt just give me broadband on its own so I couldn't. No one really thinks of the cost of things like this.
if cable is in your area why not enquire with virgin media? they may allow you to have broadband without a phone.

well just heard today that i will be doing my cscs card over the next few weeks. 2 days per week for the first 2 and then 1 day in the final week. the good news is because she called today i wont have to sit in tomorrow waiting for the call that was scheduled for tomorrow. she has also said because i am doing the course that she wont be bothering me once a fortnight. so i wont have to deal with her again until the middle of july. :j

I pay £21 a month for land line and broadband with o2. I don't know if that would be any help with your budget?

Just looked at 02 and it says this

    Your broadband package:
The All Rounder - 12 Months

    £28.00

Same as I pay now. There are no evening and weekend calls included here on 02 but you can add them at £2.50 a month!!

    OR

    Your broadband package:
    The Basics - 12 Months

    £24.00

plus weekend and evening called @ £2.50 will be £26.50 so saves me £1.50!! LOL But only 20gb where I get 40gb on BT so VERY expensive!

we have phone and broadband from virgin media and it costs us about £28 per month(not including call charges). although we did get a bundle deal. i think it would be about £8 more without the deal. maybe you should keep an eye out for deal offers from them coz they change all the time i think.

Well £28 with no calls is outrageous.

Like I say I can't get out of my contract as I have to pay to get out at £14 per month that's left of it. I do not have £126 to get out of it.

I definitely only pay £21, the dd came out of my account today, it was £21.37 *confused*

    Oh and unlimited bb.

Edit, ah I know why. I get a discount for having an o2 mobile. I forgot about that just been to check my bill to see what packaged I'm on and thats when I saw the discount. Oh well it was worth a try.
