From the 2 visits to the main office I can see I am definitely not their usual client. My last adviser told me out of all the clients he was seeing I was the only one he would consider ready for work..

and when some office consider you fit and ready for work they will then call you in MORE often.

I will give you one looby - erm what if you dont have the 15 in the first place nor enough to keep paying it. What if the amount of benefit you get doesnt cover your basic outgoings never mind any luxury.frivolity such as a mobile
then the WP should provide you with one if it's that important to them.

I'm still not sure how anyone can really be seriously applying for jobs without a phone number, most online applications won't let you proceed without entering at least one phone number.

I was seriously thinking of having the BT line cut off as I can't afford it but they wouldnt just give me broadband on its own so I couldn't. No one really thinks of the cost of things like this.

I was told to steal it from neighbours broadband connection, really laughable that one.

How are you are meant to do that? Is that not illegal? You can only do that if its an 'open zone' thing, no?

What kind of security would you have? LOL

they know they are on to a money spinner. I hardly ever use my land line, my last calls bill on it was 37p so would happily do without but as you say you can't get broadband without a land line.

I think it is illegal but i have done it when my connection has been down. I did it on a unsecure network so anyone could get onto it. As for security there is basically the anti virus software you have already got.

I think they can if you haven't protected them, but I just turned my network sharing off.

Got a reply from the Regional Operations Manager, investigation is underway, should get a response in a week or so.

Apparently the manager of my WP office is on holiday till next week and she gave me an appointment for the day after she returns, this appointment was made over the phone last week. To my knowledge all mandatory activity like appointments has to be in writing and handed direct or sent by post to the participant. I requested written confirmation but she just seemed eager to get out of the office and as they are at fault here I dont see any reason that I have to attend.
i advise you to attend. you will be on shaky ground if you dont.
