Stagnation is a boring middle ground that is being claimed a victory by both sides.

    What stagnation?

Rents are rising, and even MSW conceded on the Today show this week that property has been, and will continue to be, an excellent long term investment.

Face it - the bears have finally capitulated and are now buying up.

The crash ended in early 2009 - house prices are up 10 - 15% since then. I know my portfolio certainly is.

The next crash is due in 12 -15 years. My money is on even brit having bought by then

I was banned from the forum not too long back, couldn't see it for a few days.

I know you're a bit of a misery guts but what did you do that led to a ban?

Some of the stuff I read on here makes me think it's quite difficult to get banned.

With you on the usernames. The site must log IP addresses - it can't be too difficult or expensive to ensure that multiple usernames aren't associated with single IP's. A posting history should be required before posting here - just 10 or 20 - most of the sockies get bored or discredited way before that.

No wonder Mr Broderick self destructed by posting a penis. No wonder CarolT hasn't been seen for years.

Oh dear, drawing a picture of one's todger is often the last refuge of the criminally insane. But surely that wasn't the only reason that CarolT left.

(Can you send me a link?) :rotfl:

One other completely bonkers bear that I used to love was SquatNow - a joker who advocated squatting, and yet lived at home with his mummy!

I can't really say as I simply don't know. Neither do I want to push for an answer!! Got to ignore people I don't agree with. So I guess that means don't argue any point or something.

Whether someones been simply repetatively reporting every post I make I don't know, as thats happened before which caused a lot of work for the team.

Either way, I'm back, and grateful, however, while not able to view or post here, was looking elsewhere as could post whereaver else I wanted, and guess I've lost any enthusiasm as the forum has simply be taken over.

A great idea. E bay track single IP's to prevent people bidding on their own stuff and pushing the price up, so it's achievable.

It's a shame that you, one of the more "reasonable" forum members have taken this view.

Agree or disagree with GD's posts, you can't deny that he is one of the more polite forum members.

CarolT may have been a bit misguided, but she was game. She was subjected to a disgraceful campaign of vicious bullying by Dithering Dad (another multiple user named a$$hat who is doubtless still floating about) and his cronies and eventually left. I think her account was even hacked at the end.
