An email wouldnt even reach the MD of amazon in an hour, let alone for it to be investigated and the action to filter the line.. that's just not how these companies roll, and the icing on the cake, them phoning Nikon to have a camera delivered by the next day, on the say so that a parcel has been damaged :rotfl: no, just no.

I did accept, on the condition that Amazon were given another day to respond and to allow me to inform them of my intentions.

In addition to that they had credited my Amazon account with £150 as a good will gesture.

I must say that I'm incredibly impressed they'd go to such lengths and if they are as good as their word I will be very pleased indeed.
Well done Amazon.

But ofcourse your could fit a camera, lens, ipod and DVDs in that bag. Have you ever even seen the boxed sizes of such items? They are not large and bulky at all!

I dunno if this is true or not and really don't care. Glad xmas is restored for the OP. As unlikely as it sounds this IS all feasible and it's unlikely he'd make a video for nothing. I reckon the police should post some cold cases on here as a lot of people seem to think they are bloomin detectives the way they try and prove every post and every complaint wrong. Just accept that sometimes far fetched things DO actually happen to people and get on with giving advice if you have some or nothing if you don't. The OP is new too, troll or not, he's left with a bad impression.
