if its purely for cosmetic reasons, you'll need to see a surgeon privately as rhinoplasty is not funded (quite rightly IMHO) on the NHS.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Yeah cosmetic only so I'd be paying for this myself.

These are really difficult financial times. It's all very well clearing a load of debt first, but why not have some rainy day money? Debt is expensive, haven't you learnt that you need a cushion?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

I had one on the NHS, not for cosmetic reasons, but because I had broken my nose a few years earlier and it wasn't reset at the time.
It is not pleasant, and I wouldn't go through it again unless I really had to. If there is any way you can learn to be comfortable with your nose, I would say try and do it.0 -
What about it bothers you? Everyone I know that's had a "hook" shaped nose made straight it's looked really weird on after as it doesn't match their natural features. If you really want to change it, don't make it too severe as it often won't suit
It's a shame as it's dramatic changes most people want.

I know its not gonna be a pleasant experience but I just think it would be better than constantly being self conscious & paranoid about it.
Its just too big I think - if you look at me straight on aswell it sits to one side actually looks like its been broken at one point but it hasnt!
I would just want it to look straighter & a little bit smaller
Oh well It wont be happening for a while anyway!
Thanks D x x x0 -
Well I have a consulation on the 29th December!!!
Excited about actually seeing a professional about it.
Will still be 2013 before I have the surgery - debt to be cleared & saving to be done first!

I would say look at lookyourbestuk. com[/url], it has reviews about surgery etc. It's a very good site.
However make sure you have enough money for the op as well as a revision in case you are not happy with it afterwards!
Good luck!2012 bring it on!;)0
