    was this connected??

i asked for the display reindeer but was told i wasnt allowed if it had been plugged in due to health and safety. all staff have display models ( if have been connected to mains) as they accept responsibility if their house burns down ( her words not mine!) gutted :-(

I got the kids a 4ft fibre optic tree each which they now have in their bedrooms for £6.25 and a decoration pack each which was £3.75! theyve chosen it all themselves lol , they are happy!

I just bought an ex display rope dove, £35 down to £8.25,, then £6 as it was the display model!
also got tinsel and 37p wrapping paper that is not at all xmassy and can be used all year round!

Like other people, I can't checkout online.

I went in store at 10am today to find most of the xmas aisle a mess and nothing left (Guildford)

I really really wanted a 7ft 6" tree as ours has been pulled down by our cat and broken. Gutted!

  • Went to the Lowestoft branch this morning shortly after this was posted and managed to get a few bits for the tree, some 37p wrapping paper (Which could be used for birthdays too, as it's just plain colours) and some lights which should have been £30 :) Thanks for posting OP!

Managed to spend £20! Got some pretty little colour changing acrylic 'things' (75p each) a singing penguin and a singing chicken that you can also choke...... not sure what a chicken has to do with Christms but it is wearing antlers :)
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D
